At work we have a ninety day warranty on all of our batteries and mods. If you bring us back a device with a manufacturing defect, we swap it out with a new unit. Well, on a whim, I was digging through our old warranty box to see what was in there. About a half dozen MVPs, a couple Vamos, a Zmax, a ton of eGo batteries. Well, I happened to pick up an MVP and turn it on. I pressed the button. It turned green. I brought it out front and screwed a carto tank onto it. Nothing. "Oh well," I said, "no wonder it was in the warranty bin." My manager said, "Wait a minute," whipped out his knife, played with the pin, and boom... perfectly functioning MVP. It was scuffed up a little bit from the previous owner, but I don't care. Free MVP! W00t!
