I won't mention the website, but I recently purchased a mini eGo battery for $10.00. Thing is, I've only tried convenience store e-cigs and couldn't tell from the picture that all that was included was the battery (there was a complete e-cig in the photo and the description didn't say it was just a battery). I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. Can any of you experienced folk help me figure out the best way to get a charger cable cartidges/cartomizers, and ejuice as inexpensively as possible? I've seen the starter kits, but it seems like the cheapest I've found are $36 bucks and I really don't need another battery until I've tested the whole e-cig thing for myself.

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to ECF,

Sorry you have had problems like this. You do have a couple of options, most places sell the ego chargers for about $4 to $6, then you need to find a delivery system such as a cartomizer or clearomizer, or Discount vapers sells a very small basic kit for $20 it only has 1 battery but it is never a good idea to have only one anyways, as what are you going to use as the one charges Mini Starter Kit - 650mah - Stainless - DiscountVapers.com

(personally) Your best bet is to actually get a kit. Recharge can take a while (2 hours +), and waiting on a battery to charge can lead to a fair bit of frustration. Having on ready to go while the other charges can make the difference between rushing to the store for a pack or continuing to vape. It's a common theme to have backups, and there's a reason for it.

I'm north of the border so any shops I can offer will have higher prices and possible shipping delays, I'll leave the specific suggestions to folks with experience buying closer to you.

OK, the deal for your particular situation is.....matching the proper charger to the battery is critical. So, either:
1) Get the proper charger from the website that sold you the e-cig and make sure it is the right one.
2) Tell us what it is and give us a link and (maybe) we know of a comparable charger (still has some risk...lots of knockoff stuff on market with cut-rate sales of batteries.)
3) Just get a kit like alffalvo said since you need 2 batteries anyway. Make sure it's the same battery...even ask vendor if not sure.

I would agree with Nancy....buy this kit plus 1 more ce4 clearomizer and some juice.. you will have 2 units with juice for like 25 plus the 10 you already spent..

Thanks for the suggestion regarding discount vapors NancyR! This looks like something I (and my wallet) can handle!

You're very welcome, it is something he has put just for new vapors, and as you had already said that was an ego battery the charger will work for both.

Don't feel bad about it either. Some sites are misleading. I saw a site over the weekend implying you could get an entire LT kit - the tube, charger, 2 batteries & 2 clearomizers for only $33.00. All of that was pictured for the advertised item and they referenced a very misleading "retail price" that further led you to believe it was a kit. What they were actually selling was the LT only - nothing at all included with it for $33.00. But I wonder how many people were taken in by that one.

Some sites have not got as good a presales help. Luck for me I was a complete nob so I asked they helped with in the scope of what they carry. You will probably want to get a kit as it will include a charger and vaporizer.
Here is a pic of what I have if that will help. You probably don't have the same battery as mine which is a twist 1000. But that can work in your favor. The twist uses a special charger some batteries use just a USB connector hooked to a computer or another type of device that uses USB to charge. Here is Pic of what I have showing my connections.

Hope this helps. As far as good sites there are a bunch I'm sure someone here will know better on them than me I'm still a FNG.

Your info says you are in OR. Where abouts in OR are you? There are a couple of shops that could probably help you out (vs ordering from a website and waiting for it to arrive)

Edit: Going to a shop would also give you a better idea of what you need/want... Most places also let you try out juices before you buy.
