I love a couple Whiskey Sours on Saturday night at my local haunt. Sitting around with a whiskey sour, beating the boys at pool, and vaping away on a good pina colada vape... There's nothing better.

I do find that when drinking alcohol, it's best to vape a flavor that balances the drink... I like pina colada cuz it's a very sweet flavor, to go along with the sour of the lemon in the Whiskey Sour.

I don't drink too often, but I do have a beer (or three, or six) occasionally. I haven't found it difficult at all to disassociate drinking with smoking regular cigs since I started vaping. In fact, I now have no issues with the minor hangover symptoms I used to experience from smoking too much while drinking the night before.

I'm not a frequent drinker, but when I do drink it's generally at home with friends and family.

My mother in law's sister (auntie in law? i guess?) visited us this summer and we had drinks a few times. She'd recently quit smoking and was doing really well, but she was very interested in my kgo because she says she does indeed miss it most when she's having drinks.

I told her a cigalike at low nic would probably be fine for her evenings out, though it wouldn't cut it for me.

No effing way! I still have my adult beverages (AB) and have NO desire for analogs.

Actually, in da past, it was da same ol' smoke regardless of which AB I consumed. Now, it's a hobby to determine which AB will go with my vape flav, or vise versa!

In either case, I now have less harmful AND more options than in da past.

Now I quit drinking a 28 months ago (Friend of Bills) so that is not a factor for me. But I was wondering if any of you that still drink have a problem wanting to go back to Analog and not vape or if it does not matter. Just curious.

Cigarette are in a way, Cunning, Baffling and Powerful.

But they don't hold as much sway as Alcohol does or can for as long. I think it is rare to find people who have gone a year or more without a Cigarette who go back to Smoking. Where I know or have known Many people who Went Out after Many Years of Sobriety.

Luckily, Most people who Quit smoking and can go at Least Six Months or a Year Seldom go back. But in the Beginning, having Alcohol can tilt a person into having "Just One" Cigarette. And for many people, just One is all it takes to get them buying a Pack and then back to Smoking.

BTW - Right On for your 28 Months. It's all about Recovery, Unity and Service.

Cloves are still my downfall, but now when I get a hankering for one just a couple drags off a friend's and I wonder why I wanted any of that. Regular cigarettes, nope... no problem at all staying away from those. I can't even stand the smell any more.

Oh yea... And all of the clove e-liquids are either just bad, or replicate a Djarum Black. I love a Djarum Bali Hai Splash though...

I drink once or twice a week, I used to smoke a cig every day or two, and a pack when I drank. I used snus otherwise. Since I got my eGo I haven't smoke a cig (3 weeks today!). I haven't even really wanted one, I just switch to my high nic juice (18mg instead of 12) and I chain vape. I thought it would be harder than it was to resist the analogs.

Hey man i get from this thread that you may need support and I think thats exactly what you will get from this thread and this forum in general. I`ve been away from this forum for awhile but, I feel your pain as i am a heavy beer drinker. Rarely do I drink heavy alcohol, but i do love a nice glass or six:p of a good red wine! Honestly I`m a thirty something thats getting too fat from too much beer that wants to relive the old days of being in a band and partying to now the wife wants a minivan...a minivan...yeah i dont want to grow up, but i do love my life and want to vape instead of smoke for my kids.

Good luck man, selfishness is smoking, vaping is conscience, so let us all be free.

I was one week into vaping, no cigs at all since I started and a buddy calls me to come help him dispose of some excess Scotch. I have a weakness for Scotch, and generally chain smoke while drinking. On my third glass, I couldn't take it anymore and bummed a smoke. I lit it, took one puff, and gagged. It tasted terrible after only a week of vaping much tastier things than a stinky cig. I knew than and there, that I was done with cigs, and it was a great feeling.
