Wasting Good juice because of no taste. Flavor rotation question? should i consider dripping?

I try to do a descriptive title when asking for help. Also try to give plenty of info regarding setup and any other things
you guys may need to know to help me.

I am having flavor issues, from all the juices i try.

I am using a eleaf istick 20W with an aspire nautlius mini as my primary( Snickelfritz), and aerotank2 as a second flavor( peach). ego starter kit has cigar juice.
istick is set at 7.5 watts for nautilus mini, 5.7 watts for kanger aerotank2. Also have the kanger emow mega tank, out of comission right now, use that for cinammon. cinnamon i have is too hot.

Ben Johnson Snicklefritz is a juice i like. No steeping needed, right?
$26.50 for 30 ml is a bit steep for me, because i vape a lot. I buy it at a local shop.
For the first few days, it was good. Day 4, I taste nothing.
I try to mix it up between the other flavors throughout the day also, switching tanks on the istick. v2 has juicy peach. ego with cheapie setup is cigar. so i am using 3 different flavors throughout the course of the day.
All juice is 18 mg.
I dropped to 12 on the last snickelfritz, too low.

Having no taste, I put the snicklefritz aside for a day. Did not touch it. Put in a new coil, the one with the larger holes in the nautilus. Still very little to no taste.

Not sick, no sinus infection or anything. No mucus or chest congestion. had a dr appt yesterday, ears and nose are clear.
I am not on any medications. Do not drink alcohol at all, and do not smoke or chew tobacco. Last chew was Dec. 10 2014
I do not eat spicy foods, in fact, eat a very bland diet. no salt/pepper, and very, very little seasoning. I do not add seasonings to anything. if a noodle packet comes with seasonings, i use that. always mild salsa, etc.

Poking around, saw some other ideas. inhale coffee grounds. pickle juice. even took a big whiff of old spice and clubman after shave to clear my receptors. looked at some vapers tongue info.
Tighter airflow to concentrate flavor. tried that. also tried full open.
i just don't get it.

My next purchase will be the 5ml nautilus. Mostly for capacity. I work from home, but on the days that i do travel, it's usually 150 to 200 miles in a day, multiple stops.

i have in my cart unflavored 50/50 m18 mg at mt baker for my next order. if I can't taste it, why bother.

current juice i have: 18 mg nic
30 ml Bottles -
1/2 bottle left of snicklefritz
1/2 bottle of peach, by hangsen
1/3 bottle of razzleberry, mbv
full bottle of cumarin pipe, mbv (steeping), tried 2 mils, not ready
Full bottle cinnamon red hot with 4 xtra flavor shots, WAY too hot, unvapeable, my fault. was going to order unflavored, and mix it to cut the heat.
15 ml bottles -
Vanilla from local shop
Evo black Diamond - i mix this with the cigar.
Cohiba cigar - mixed with above

6 mg nic-
mad alchemist winter's bite. i ordered 4 30 ml bottles, but nic was too low. have 3 1/3 left of that.

0mg nic.
A few samples from mbv. serve me no purpose, unfortunately, because 12 mg nic didn't work for me.

So, it may seem wordy, but i need help.
any ideas?

Being that I'm unfamiliar with any of your devices or liquids, I can't give gear specific advice. It sounds like you've got vapors tongue, and have already tried some of the main things to help overcome that. Honestly, it will probably pass. I don't think it's your setup etc since you've done things like try new coils and still no taste. Switching to unflavored while you wait it out isn't a bad idea.

Sorry, not really any help here, but I wish you the best and at the very least I've bumped the thread so maybe more people will see it

edit - I'm pretty confident nic level's not your problem; I'd go ahead and rule that one out.

I had a similar problem a few months after I started vaping, I tried just about every suggestion I could find on the forums, and for me the only thing that I found helped at all was to keep one tank of menthol flavoured liquid, and toggle between that and my favourite ADV. But even that wasn't really much of a "fix"

After some time I realised that for me the best fix was to stop chain vaping, you see, once I got frustrated that I couldn't taste my juices at all, I just kept vaping more and more to try to get my taste back, rewicking, vaping, recoiling, vaping, upping wattage, vaping, changing tanks, vaping, dripping, vaping, changing juices, vaping....

After I exhausted all my options and got tired of re-wicking and rebuilding and wasting all that bunch of juice, I just gave up, over the next few days I picked up my mod less, and eventually I was tasting my juices again.

Now that I have had this experience and "recovered" I generally carry 2 different flavoured juices, usually of different kinds, (One Creamy, One Fruity). In the middle of the day, I find that I don't taste the one I started off in the day with so well anymore, I take off that tank, and leave it for the rest of the day, and go on to my next juice.

My suggestion is to stop fretting, just pick 2 different types of juices you really like (When you could taste =D), leave them in the tank, and take it easy. Really hope this helps! I know how frustrating it is.

Is a natural phenomenon, happens. . Some ppl vape flavorless juice. ..brush your teeth a few extra times day til it goes away.

Thank you. i will try the unflavored. probably the best bet. also, the bigger tank i want, will get the chocolate i tried twice, just to throw a completely different flavor into the mix. i dipped skoal spearmint and skoal straight for all those years, so trying to stay away from mint/menthol and tobacco. the cigar was a mistake

I used a Nautilus Mini when I started and I never liked flavor from that thing. I think it's the wick used in it. There are some tanks now that use organic cotton, you might want to try that, or try to find better coils for the Nautilus if you can.

Silica wicks like those in disposable heads like the Nautilus and Kanger are the best way to mute all flavor from your juice. Either learn to rebuild them with cotton or move on to rebuildables. If you do decide to move on to RDA's, your existing inventory of juice that you never could taste will suddenly be overwhelming with too much flavor, and your next search will be a supplier of unflavored juice to tone them down.

Thank you, i use the aspire nautilus bvc. i used the ones with the smaller holes, now have the ones with the bigger holes. did not know there were any other options other than the aspire nautilus bvc. Should i look at "clone" coils?

Thank you. i don't think i can drip with the eleaf istick 20. only found 1 vid on youtube, by rubyroo, where she drips on the 20 watt. maybe i'll order that rda and play with it.

Definitely do yourself a favor and order an RDA. Any RDA to get your feet wet. 20W from your iStick is plenty for a single coil, anything from 1-2 ohm coil is going to blow away anything the Nautilus mini will do on a good day. You may also want to source a supplier of unflavored VG juice after your mind gets blown, just so you don't waste your current inventory...

Just as another thing to try - raise the wattage. I have my Nautilus mini (1.7 ohm) on a 20w istick and I'm running it at 16w. Taste and vape is much better at the higher end, at least for me. Good luck!

Let us know what you ended up with... 50/50 juices will never taste much like anything with a silica-wicked disposable head, so hopefully you move on from those. If you decide to stick with your current gear, your best bet at more flavor is to reduce the VG% to almost full PG. That's what I did for years before I realized how inefficient and wasteful disposable heads are.

I don't know what it was, but it just seemed to take forever for me to get my sense of taste back, 7ish months maybe.

Anyway, I like trying juices and enjoy getting samplers. Bottles are smaller, but the clear odds are that I will not buy 9 out of 10 juices again. Occasionally, I get lucky. Most juices just don't swirl in the glass well.

I'm sorry if I missed this in your op, but what percentages are you at? 50/50? 70/30 (vg/pg)? Increase your VG percentage, that could help! VG is your flavor. Try that and let us know!

I mix about 20 percent vanilla with cinnamon to cool it down and I can always taste that. it help reset my taste so that I can taste other flavors. mint seems to work well for this too.

thats the secret behind expensive juices... the flavor drops out causing you to vape more... therefore spend more...making the juice vendor rich

Thank you. Most are at 50/50, MBV rep told me to increase pg, so did that on the razzleberry. 65% PG 35% VG. She suggested 80% PG 20% VG on the cumerin pipe, but letting that steep.
Snicklefritz bottle is not marked. but the websites i looked at only sell 50/50.

I may try this tonight. I have cinnamon red hot with 4 flavor shots that is way too hot. my fault, i asked for it.
I have vanilla from my local shop. only problem is it's 14 mg, so it will throw off the nic level a bit. that is not too bad of a step down though.
I have samples from mbv, but they are 0 nic. I'm not sure i'm ready to cut my nic level in half. I'll experiment with the vanilla tonight.
worst that can happen is it goes back in the soak for a cleaning.
