I have a MVP 3.0 and a Zephyrus rta. Should I attempt quad or is that impossible at the 30 watt limit?

A quad coil in a Zephyrus? Gl with that. Regardless the 30w probably wouldn't be enough to get a good hit off it.
Have you tried wicking and hitting it? Even if that build doesn't short when it's assembled you prolly won't have any airflow. Lmk how it goes.
Actually the picture above was on google and would like to know if 30 watt mvp would even fire it without taking a long time. Not sure if I should of posted a link, don't think there is any kind of copy-rite.
The number of coils is NOT affected by wattage. The total resistance is..... In the old days of last year, when there were not many mods over 15watts. We did quads for TOOTLE PUFFING. Yse you can run a quad at less than 30watts. That's how subohming was done when the only way was a mech and the thickest wire you saw being used was 28awg. High watt regulated mods didn't make subohm possible it made it easy and safer for newbies.

You would wick it by wraping the coils, leaving the center open for air flow. Or at least that is how I would do it. Wraping also solves the shorting issue.
Go to 34 or 36 and do 6 or 8 coils.. Thats why the Steamengine has the Hepta, septa and OCTA coil choices. Trick is making the coils fit, in the build space.
Well, I can build my Estia with 3 coils and 28g to run on a 30W mod so I think 30 or 32 would do it for 4.
Thanks for everyones input! I guess theres one way to find out. I am going to do this build first with 32Gauge and might try it with 28. I'll post the outcome.
What Ohm should I shoot for. I'd like it to be around 1 OHM so that's 4 OHM on each coil right?
1 ohm on 4 coils might be pushing it. I can hit 0.5-0.65 though with 28g on the Estia with 3.

Should of tried 2 coils at 15 watt first to see if it hit well. Was not to bad just ramp up time. Switched back to 2 coils again. Thanks everyone! It was good practice.
