A quad coil in a Zephyrus? Gl with that. Regardless the 30w probably wouldn't be enough to get a good hit off it.

Trying to build it more for the experience than particle use.

The number of coils is NOT affected by wattage. The total resistance is..... In the old days of last year, when there were not many mods over 15watts. We did quads for TOOTLE PUFFING. Yse you can run a quad at less than 30watts. That's how subohming was done when the only way was a mech and the thickest wire you saw being used was 28awg. High watt regulated mods didn't make subohm possible it made it easy and safer for newbies.

Have you tried wicking and hitting it? Even if that build doesn't short when it's assembled you prolly won't have any airflow. Lmk how it goes.

You would wick it by wraping the coils, leaving the center open for air flow. Or at least that is how I would do it. Wraping also solves the shorting issue.
