"Waxy" tasting juice from Rockstar??

Hello all,

Just got some juice from Rockstar Vapor (Marshmallow, Peach, Strawberry/mango, Green Apple)and I cannot seem to get a nice flavor out of them...

Here is what I have vaped the juice on...

Volcano inferno with the magma cartomizer and a smoktek 1.7ohm Tank Cartomizer
5v box mod with boge 3.0ohm

For reference I will say that my favorite juice to date has been KBV with extra flavor...

Am I spoiled with extra flavor? Am I using the wrong setup for Rockstar juice?


I really want to mention that I am in no way singling out any of the companies in a negative light - all have been super, super great! In fact I'm more apt to think I'm the one at fault here...

Well, I think it's a YMMV kinda' thing...

I have tried Rockstar on several occasions in the past - I really like their Blackcherry, Black raspberry and Cola flavors...but that just me. I tried Strawberry/mango and peach but wasn't overly impressed -although, in fairness, I was at a 50/50 PG/VG mix.

Thanks for the reply EW - I agree. I have heard that they potentially will "get better with age". Think I shelve them for a few weeks and see what happens.

Might want to make that few weeks a few months in actuality. I only ordered from Rockstar once and out of the 5 flavors only 1 was vapable for me within the first month. The rest all seems to have a heavy alcohol overtone (like you just walked by a perfume sample girl at Macy's with your mouth open) that took upwards of 3 months to finally die off.

Granted they make a kick ... Peanut Butter Cup (the one that matured first) and their fruit flavors were fairly spot on, never did manage to get their coffee to taste acceptable to me, then again I'm a coffee snob.

While I do hit up KBV on occasion my go to juice guys are TVR, BombayVaping, (no charge for extra flavor and I'm addicted to Blaze) and Blue Mist. (avoid the Crab juice, just trust me)
