Way off topic....apologies. But I need help.

Been on and off the forum because I am really busy on a research and planning project. Have not had time to talk vape as much this past week or two. But I wanted to reach out a see if anyone could help.
I've lived here for a few years and always wanted to go round trip on a bike through Japan. I've had it set for next year April but I've been told by my Dr. That my back would not survive my standard bike ride. Darn herniated disc and all. I used to be able to ride all day but not any longer.
So, I'm going to do it on a recumbent bike (sit down type). But these things are expensive new. I'm looking for a cheap one hence the research. Build my own or buy used. If I was in the US, no problem, they are all over eBay and Craigslist.
Anyways, I know this is way off topic, but if any of you know where a used one is collecting dust....I would like to buy it. I have to start training soon if I am going to switch riding style and prepare for this 3 month adventure. Not sure what a recumbent bike is, just google and you'll see a ton of photos.
Any style would be great, I can convert anything into a touring bike. Even just a frame would work, hahaha.

Oh, I've done that many times. Currently there are only three. One is priced like new, the other two are the wrong size. Anyways, I will keep looking. But I appreciate the help.

Damn, wish i could help out, I'm more into bmx's though. Those lay down bike seem so strange. You ever ride one yet?

I was into BMX growing up....had many of them. The past few years have been all about mountain bikes.
I have not ridden a recumbent with two wheels yet, but I have ridden a trike style. Much less work for the same health benefit.
The online searching I can do....I'm hoping all of my reaching out will find one that is sitting in someone's garage not being used or something like that. I've got wanted adds out on craigslist, gaijin pot, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc....now I'm just waiting and keeping an eye on the forums and auction sites.
Oh well, at least I've got my vape!

Well good luck, you seem to have your feelers out all over. Would it be cheaper to get a used one shipped from the US? If you know anybody from home (or where ever your old home used to be...haha) maybe they could ship it to you.
