Hey ALL! :) So I just picked up the AGA-T+ and of course I love it! First time with a rebuildable and gotta say I picked it up pretty quick and I am luvin it!!! tons of fun tinkering around, definitly gonna pick up another 1 or 5 to play with..lol... N E ways, I was wondering if there is a way to make the draw on the aga-t a little tighter, it feels a little loose to me and I definitly like a tight draw. Did i maybe do something wrong when I put it together? I dont think so cuz it does work pretty good... or does anyone have a solutions to this? Has this happened to anyone else with this devise or another and you found a way to solve it??? any help or advise or even thoughts that might work, or that I could try, would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

I think they all have different draws. I just got one today and its has a really tight draw. I was going through the big aga t+ tread and it seamed that there is a lot of different hole sizes in the cap for the draw. I tightened the draw on my ZAU by using a large gauge needle to plug the hole. I just cut the needle really small filed it to the radius of the cap and tapped it into the existing hole in the top cap. It was a perfect fit. Now i draw air through the needle tube. I don't now the gauge of the needle but it was the clear capped ones. That may work for the aga but the cap wall is thinner. Just need to find the right gauge.

I just did that tonight. I was a little upset the $25 aga tasted way better than the $150 Zen and I couldn't figure out why. Same amount of wick in each. Both had new wicks, same ohms. Everything was the same. I spent all afternoon trying to figure this out. The only thing that was different was the draw. Now that I changed it it tastes way better. i'm happy now

Yep, AGA-T's are incredibly inconsistent as far as draw goes. Of the last two I got, one was ZAP-level airy, and the other was Cobra-level tight. I personally much prefer an airy draw, but luckily I was able to find someone here who wanted a tighter draw on an AGA-T+ and we traded.

One trick that works relatively well on Genny's is to cut a piece of an aluminum can and partially block the hole with it... though that can be a pain if it decides to move around on you. If you're lucky, someone like me may appreciate your cap more than you do and swap with you.

So from what i have heard, that they are very inconsistant, and the air holes on the top peice are all over the place so depending on where ur airhole got punched is gonna give you your draw, whether that be tight or airy. So it looks like I am going to have to fill in the hole and drill another one to get a tighter draw...

SO , my question is this...

do i drill it higher or lower to get the tighter draw??? Does anyone know this or have a reason why higher would do this and lower would do that..??? Not gonna attempt anything until tomorrow so hopefully we can figure this one out :) thanx for all ur help!!! much appreciated!!

An easy fix would be to either get a drip tip with a more narrow hole or a Siam Mods air-flow drip tip. That would help get a tighter draw. There are also some new devices that you place on the 510 connector and then you put your atomizer on top. THis is an adjustable air flow ring to get a tighter draw.

The 510 connection wont work on a genny as the air flow comes from the cap and not the connection.

go to pep boys and buy some metal tape. tape inside of cap over hole. Heat a little bit with a lighter and run something smooth and round over it to get a good smooth surface. let it sit and cool for a couple hours and give the tape a chance to really stick. use a sewing needle of various gauge to poke hole to size of your liking. just remember to let the tape sit for a bit before you mess with it. once that stuff is on there it's really on there so you shouldn't have to do it very often. just a easy thought before you go crazy modifying your cap.
