Drip-Tip mod for those that don't like metal ones. I prefer using whistle tips but a friend has confirmed works equally well on standard 510 carts.
For this mod after taking out the end caps I drilled out only the top of the chamber that holds the poly fill.
Started with a pinhole in the center and worked up from my smallest drill bit to one 3/16 in size. Then put a small straw just long enough to sit just below the end of the mouthpiece and just above where the bridge of the atomizer will be once in place.
By doing it this way I keep the side air passages clear and have a tube that the drips can go down staying as close to the attie bridge as possible.
This method has dramatically reduced leakage at the battery/attie join for me as well.
For those interested this in my Drip-Tip MK2 mod that I made for use with my LR atties mostly. I found them to work better with the juice getting to the atty from the bridge, and the silicon plug provided some heat protection to the cart, melting plastic is not the extra flavor I am looking for in my vaper.
Using my original mod I added a regular drinking straw in the cart long enough to support a silicon Zero Filler Mod plug aprox 1/2-1 mm inside the cart. Also shorten the small straw slightly to allow for the plug that is being added.
All the best and Happy Vaping,
Wing.
