I've been searching for the best design on a cart to use at high voltage. I have been using the RSP cart for more than a month. So far the best design cart for my Prodigy and PS PT was a 15mm straw. and a 3mm plug. The only problems I had been encountering was the tendancy of the plug to stay in the atty when I pulled the cart off. To me this was acceptable because the flavor and hit from this combination was the best I had ever experienced.

So, what have I done now that's different? Purely by accident I put a cart back on the atty without the plug! I didn't notice it until I removed the cart for refilling. I thought, could it be this simple? So I refilled the cart and put it back on the atty and gave it another try. It was working, with out the plug! It is using the straw as a wick and the viscosity of the fluid was able to keep it in the cart until the atty demanded it. This is incredible because I am getting the flavor and hit of the Protege at 3.7 on my Prodigy at 5.0 volts.

So, I thought that if there is no plug I can make the straw longer and get more fluid. Not, here is where the specifics of the design are important. Here is the straw I am using.

The straw I started with is 15mm long. You should start with this length is you give this a try. The holes and vents in the straw simply allow the fluid to move throughout the cart unimpeded.

There are 2 important parts of this design that need to be followed.

** First is that the liquid can't be the straight PG commercial fluid. It will just leak like crazy and you will have a mess. You need a fluid that has enough viscosity to allow the friction of the straw to keep it into the cart until needed by the atty.

**The second is you can't overfil the cart, of course you will have leaking issues with any cart design if you fill the cart too full. You have to leave room for the bridge to be inserted when the atty is installed. I fill the cart so that the fluid is slightly below the top of the straw.

The disclaimer for this mod is that it works great and perfect for my nic juice. My juice contains 30% VG and 5% Alcohol ,PGA. I don't have any pure VG nic juice to try but I imagine that will work even better. Don't even try pure PG nic juice as it will just leak.

This is the best performing cart I have tried to date. If you have leaking and don't want to adjust your juice simply put a 3mm plug on top of the straw. I was using a 3mm plug with great sucess before stumpling upon this design.

Why even use a straw? I'd be very afriad of melting the straw as its close to the bridge with no plug.. You'll probably get the same suction going on with the straw or no straw.

No, the straw acts as a wick. It is responsible for the liquid staying into the cart and the reason the liquid remains in contact with the atty bridge.

The bridge will not melt anything, the coil is the source of heat in the atty not the bridge. The plastic cart walls are closer to the coil than this straw. Your foam isn't melted by the bridge is it? Why would you think a straw would melt.

You might want to be careful with this one because one time the button went off in my pocket and when I noticed it was too late. The atomizer melted a deep, bridge-shaped intention in my cart. If the bridge can melt a plastic cart, it will most definitely melt a plastic straw.
