Haha, yeah I hear 'ya. I'm a bit more tolerant since I can sympathize a little more with ex-smokers now that I'm one of them but still, I remember being a smoker too and frankly, I feel sorry for them. I know exactly what it's like to be addicted to cigarettes so I try to give them a break. Obviously I hope that one day they will choose to join our ranks ...

vape On! :)

The person I REALLY feel for is my wife....a non smoker who accepted my daily hugs and kisses with delight...sounds closed minded but don't know if I could've done the same  I owe her BIGTIME  and she's as involved in vaping as much as I am. Helps with the non profit vape prog and listens to me go on and on and on...Truly lucked out when I latched on to her :D

I grew up in a house with a smoking parent, and the smell never bothered me. I didn't start smoking until age 24...not sure why I started then either. I had also dated a few smokers before I ever started and that didn't really bother me. It wasn't until I smoked and then quick that I became keenly aware of the smell. My point is that I really do think that ex-smokers are way more bothered by the smell than those that have never smoked.

I smoked cloves for 20 years so the smell of regular cigarettes always grossed me out. That said... Gawd, I can't wait to hit my 6 month mark (only 5 months, 28 days to go!) so I can get my car bio-cleaned. It's pricey, so it's my reward to myself for staying smoke-free without being pregnant (the only other times I successfully quit for that long).

My wife still smokes and she stinks when she comes in from the garage. I don't say anything because I don't want to come across as a born again non-smoker.

My GF still smokes...but vapes around me. lol. She "Can't quit yet...too stressed at work...blah blah" but she's real nice about it. I try not to say anything and have said "go ahead and have a cig if you want! (in the car)"...when vaping was harsh with her new super-mini e-cig. But I know what you all are saying.

We ARE the worst. Mostly because...we know how it can be after you get over the cigs....clean, no stink. We're not acclimated to it anymore.

To be fair...she informed me that my last batch of DIY e-juice smelled like cat pee. lol. So what goes around.....

I always said I would never be "THAT" ex-smoker and when I first started vaping I made a point to hang around the smoker's tents at work. But now...four months in...I don't go out there anymore. I really don't mind the smell of smoke but when I go back inside I can still smell it on me. And when one of the smokers comes back in and walks down the hallway...it just reeks.

Did I really smell that bad? Apparently so.

The smell is awful, but a lot of smells are awful. I will never become a smoking nazi. I don't plan on ever smoking again, but I strongly support the rights of adults to smoke and private businesses to decide whether to allow it in their establishment. I still go outside to vape with the smokers. Fortunately the smell doesn't make me crave a cigarette.

The actual smell of smoking doesnt bother me but the residual smell left on people, cars, houses are so bad. I knew that I smelled after smoking but its sort of motivation when I smell it and now I just smile knowing I was successfull. I wont give a smoker grief cause I know how it is to be frowned on while smoking but I am the first one to ask them to try my mod and explain E cigs to them haha.

I find that it depends on people. For some reason, some people smell horrible after just one cigarette, especially if a girl has that stink where it seems like they are sweating out smoke... Complete turn off. But a few of my ex-girlfriends smoke and they all smell fine. The non-smoking ones said i smelled good too even though i was lighting up like crazy.

And it depends on the cigs youre smoking too i think. An ex actually used to buy me cigarettes all the time as long as i smoked my usual brand (Kent Silver Neo, cant seem to find it here in the US)

i am disabled and am at home most of the time. when our adult children come over ( they are smokers). i can smell them and it is awful. i always have a cig a like ready for them...they then do about half and half...real smoke/cig a like.....then they go home..but their aroma does linger. they do their real smoking outside...i no longer allow it in my home, which they don't like, but tough !)6&&$. p.s. i have set all 4 of these up with 808 start ups that hubby uses. they say they are using them....but i have my doubts.

lol! I'm in the same boat. I bought my wife a P+ 10440 and at first she didn't use it much, but she's starting to use it more and more. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, I'd have my doubts too ... that's too bad. You'd think they would want to stop just for the economic reasons if not for their health! Keep on 'em!
