Well, the highlights of the part that I was able to catch was the following:
1) CASAA would like to know how to get more visibility in the Press...like how does an organization become that "go to" place for reporters to get facts from?
2) Discussion was held as to whether or not CASAA should be responsible for being a standardizing organization for vendors to refer to (ie set standards for ecigs and liquid to adhere to). I think it was pretty much decided that CASAA's madate doesn't really cover that.
A line of discussion followed that TVECA (a vendors' organization) has not been the model to adhere to for such standards, either, though.
I have yet to learn more about TVECA, but from what I have gleaned, it's run by some not so great elements....
