So I've come up with an idea for companies and I'm trying to get info on patents and such atm, but I see eGos and many other e-cigs with cases, lanyards, etc... but I have yet to see a desktop/vehicle base mount where you could rest your e-cig upright without issues.

This idea I made out of Sculpey III, baked in the oven, and wala, a light weight base (weighs about as much as a 510 atty) that you could use at ur desktop or add velcro to the bottom and mount on your car dash or center console.

I'm also in the process of a layout of one that would have a charging base, just the same concept, but will be done in drawing format, rather than out of clay (being I only have 1 eGo charger)

Here is my base/mount without a charger...

I might try my concept with my backup e-cig (E-9) and see what I can come up with. But I want to think it out fully before using my only charger for that.

If anyone would like to maybe donate a burnt up eGo charger or one that I could test my idea with, please contact me. Thanks!

Note: I also find it SOOOO much easier to pop my eGo into this at ease of dripping. I've also vaped with the eGo still in the base and it doesn't change the weight. It seems to make it a little easier to hold as well.

Comments wanted. :)

Because I have a little one who thinks it's okay to grab just anything. I like my base, knowing if he throws it, it's not going to shatter. I've tried many different glasses, shot glasses, pencil caddies, a screw on (taller) lotion lid, and many other odd things. I just like that you can make them to match, they are heat resistant (since it's cooked) and very hard to melt, and super light weight and looks like less clutter on my desktop. but I guess anything would work.

Just trying to give ideas to companies that would want to eventually make bases for vehicle use instead of just throwing it in a can or ur ashtray. I'm not trying to promote this or sell it. Just showing what you can do to make it easier on urself, base wise :)

Also, I bought a multi pack of Sculpey II as well from Walmart, cost me a whole 9 something for 12 different colors. I use sculpey alot to make beads, characters, etc... and this multi pack has lasted me for a good 8 months and I haven't even used half of it.

I think craft stores sell Sculpey for like 1.00 - 2.50 a pack (you get a 2" x 3" chunk). Total it may have costed me .50 to make this thing. Shape it, bake it on 300 for a few mins (depending on size), and woot a nice hardened plastic-ish clay.
