Website Help: Pardon the village idiot.

So, I've been trying this for awhile, with no luck. Is there a way for me to save my Shopping Cart long term? What am I doing wrong? I log in to the site, but every time I go back with a new browser window, my items are gone. I would like to spend several days, or maybe even a couple of weeks collecting items in a cart. I am old, and forgetful.

Is this a cookie setting? Do I ask too many questions? Will the price of gasoline make us all crazy?

Normally the cart does last a few days. Not sure why yours wouldn't but you can always use the wish list

I couldn't wait, so I just resolved the problem by placing the order. Now I just need to convince the guys to hold off on the shipping until my husband goes out of town, otherwise I'm gonna have to move in with some of the Family.

Joyce, I know you got a resolution, but.....just curious...did you login before placing the items in the cart?? I have not had that problem, but I always log in first so I can see my wish list too....

Yes, I logged in, kee. If I close my browser window, it goes away...I can hold a wish list, but not the cart. Once it held for one day. The next day it was gone.

Ms. Joyce, I know Mark sir has taken care of it, but have you checked your browser's cookie settings? If it's set to delete cookies after exiting, then that would explain the issue.....

I thought about that too, but I wasn't sure if it would affect the cart on that side....does it remember here or there???

Remembers on the computer you used to shop on Ms. Keelalagirl. My phone has kept items in my shopping cart for weeks... Computer, only a few days....

Ah...good to know....my browser deletes cookies when I tell it to...it's not automatic....should set it that way though, but everytime i clear them I forget what password goes with which username on which site...lol

(so I'm right there with ya Joyce.....there's a couple of village idiots in this village...)

Ms. Keelalagirl, I do the exact same thing... The worst is with my bank... When I delete that cookie I can never remember the answer to the secret question... Sadly I picked the answers to those questions.... How dumb am I?
