Hi Vapers! I'm always hearing stories from people telling me about how they have friends, family, or even complete strangers try vaping for the first time. I was wondering if you may have any interesting stories you'd like to share with us. Or just maybe how many people you have gotten to try vaping for the first time? Share your stories with us, and have a safe and fun weekend!

Hi Gab!
I have gotten hubby and my neighbor Amanda to both start vaping. However, it still requires a lot of hand holding. Like hubby will grab an analog if I do not have his zues ready to go. As for Amanda I just think that she has not found the juice that works for her yet.

Have a lot of them to share Gabe sir, so guess it's best to start with one of my earliest.

Driving around DC for my job puts me in contact with a lot of random people. At around 3 months into vaping had a guy stop me as I was bringing in a delivery to a store to ask me what the hell was the thing I was puffing on. Asked him to give me moment to finish my work, then told him about ecigs, asked him what did he smoke, gave him some suggestions on what to get, etc. Also gave him my number so he could call me anytime he needed some help. Almost 2 1/2 years later still talk to him, he's been smoke free for just under 2 years and 3 months, and he's still vaping to this day. Anytime something new comes out he gives me a call to find out if he should or shouldn't get it, and even have walked him through how to coil an rba.

How long has he been vaping? Hopefully he can make the complete switch over to e-cigs soon
As for your neighbor, It's always a bit difficult to find your prefered set up and all day vape. Best of luck to her.

Morander: That's an awesome story. I have a few people that call me whenever they see something new on the site and ask me if they should get it or not. It's a great feeling.

I have no success stories
I've tried to convert my DH, my sister and a coworker. None of them picked it up. That is why I like the forums. It is much easier to help people that are already interested rather than convert people that have no interest.

I did introduce one guy to vaping. He never smoked He said he had thought about picking up the habit but the health affects kept him away. I did not encourage him to start vaping but he asked questions and wanted to try it out. He's now my vaping buddy and has been vaping for over a year now. I did encourage him to vape 0nic but he said that would be pointless. He vapes around 12-18mg.

I can't say I've personally converted anyone yet. My husband and I jumped into this at the same time (although getting the PVs was my suggestion, so I'll take a little credit).

However, *I'm* some else's convert!!

My work buddy can totally take the credit for introducing me to vaping if he cares to

I have tried but some people can't stand the thought of flavored tobacco..I was one of those..I just didn't want to spend sooo much on cigs anymore but some don't care,,,yet!

Can add another story for more recent. On Saturday went to a craft brew festival here in MD, as always was walking around with my pv (had a Zeus, an unmentionable, and a few king diamond batts just in case actually). Had 5 people come up and talk to me about vaping, how theey wanted to try vaping out, so gave each of them a V4L business card with my cell phone on it. This afternoon one of the people called me. Gave him advice on what to order, what ton look out for, all the usual stuff and he placed an order this afternoon. Said he'll call me if he has any issues, and wants to meet with me sometime next week for a crash course in person. Hopefully it's another person able to make the switch.
