Well, I went to Wallyworld, grabbed shredded EVERYTHING, purple onion, cilantro, avocado, a bit of this and a bit of that AND a little stroller! Came home, unpacked, and took Emmy out with the stroller. The first thing I noticed is... there are no front wheels! LMAO! Holy H E L L I had to bend over the entire time to tilt the stupid thing BUT she sat in it when she got gimpy in her leg... I'll wrap it back up to return it and I'll get the next one up with 4 SETS OF WHEELS instead!

Time for a tornado party :toast: and baseball size hail

You stay safe, StevesCVO... how long is tornado season, sheesh... you barely got over the last one!

Menu change

Baked breaded Flounder n asparagus with Italian dressing and shredded egg. Yum And the best part-the 16 yo cooked :) He's gotta learn ...

You go, GaMntGirl! Sounds magnificent! I just ate a small mixed Asian slaw with avocado... couldn't finish it, so I hope it stays fresh for tonight when I wake.

Wifey is having a bad day so I must stay home with her so I'll be on and off the thread all day. Doesn't help pay the bills though.

Sorry to hear that the "Wifey" is not doing well again . . . :(

Just always know that I'm thinking about You both and sending GOOD VIBES Your way . . . :D

Well, I got delayed and the clothes sat an extra day. Washed them this morning, and the sweat stains are gone! These were old, dryer set stains that resisted Octagon and Oxyclean. However, I had several shirts with RATC that resisted my Octagon treatment, so I have some more work to do - hope the new Dawn/peroxide treatment works. Otherwise, I will have to get nuclear and bust out the Extreme Simple Green; I try to save it as a last resort because it's kinda pricey.

4 - Things to try . . .

1) For Protein Stains, especially including Blood - 3% Peroxide: Pour on spot - let sit (should practically disappear right then) - then wash . . .

2) Old School - Hair spray: Spray on Stain let sit for a little while then wash . . . Takes out even Hair Color . . . :)

3) Whisk & Snowy Bleach - mixed into a paste - rub on stain and let sit 24 hours - then wash like normal . . . (BTW: always check a small spot to see if garment is a color safe material) . . . Will take Axel grease out of almost any cloth . . . :thumb:

4) Resolve Rug Cleaner and/or Stain Remover (BTW: It is for more then just rugs) - Spray area - let sit for 24-48 Hours - then wash as normal . . . Did this with an Old Antique Quilt that had "Rust" Stains and Spotting - Red Color just POPPED and The White was actually WHITE again . . . Couldn't have been happier . . .

Just Sayin' . . .;)

Greek fair tonight. mmmm Stuffed
pasticcio and moussaka.... greek salad, and a souvlaki stick for the dog. We are stuffed!

I Wish . . . :D

Oh BTW: Just as an FYI - As for Cucumbers - PLEASE REMEMBER - if you got a BAD Stomach, GERD, or any of the many other stomach problems that I see some people mentioning in their post . . . PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO REMOVE THE SEEDS . . . before eating. With all the discussion about Cucumbers and "Taziki" sauce - I decided to have a Cucumber Sanwich and forgot - Lets Just Say NOT PLEASANT after effects - Was up all night with one of My "attacks" that actually feels like I am having a heart attack . . . It took Nexium & Zantac (300 MG) . . . Then HOURS OF Ice On Chest, 2 Lg Bottles of Ginger Ale & 12 Tums later . . . A Word to the Wise . . .Just Sayin' . . . :)
