1. 6/10 - (Part 1-prelude) I was mowing the lawn and doing other various landscaping duties for a friend on Saturday to earn a little extra cash. A landscaping contractor (obviously not a worker judging by his stature) was driving his company truck through the neighborhood looking for future clients, knocking on doors and offering his services. My friends were not home at the time. While I was mowing the front yard this "gentleman" tried to tell me about his services when I informed him that I was not the home owner. He then asked me when the owners would return for him to try and take away the job I was doing at that very moment! My mind was blown. What a set of huevos.

The worst part about going off the VVV range for vape gear is not being able to come back here for advice. I've missed you guys while strolling the other side of the tracks.

We do discuss other gear on this thread, we do comparisons between PVs, cartos, atomizers, tanks, RBAs, and whatever else. Is this a bad thing? I have been taking these discussions as a way to tell Ray that he's got a superior product compared to some others OR to discuss some things Ray may want to consider carrying. I have even mentioned sales or co-ops... Are we not allowed to do this?

'Just finished bottling the blonde ale - 6.8% ABV. I might have to put a warning label on it!' ...
'I make no comment on the veracity, or lack thereof, of the statement; just amused by how far flung some of this drama gets. If VJ keeps pointing out the good deals, I'll still check it out; if he makes a little bit of coin for his efforts, more power to him. OK, back to my beer and my vape...

When you said that you were brewing I planned to make some cider! I never got around to it :'( Now you make me sad that I was such a lazy B U T T :p

This little drama playing out... it's gonna happen with all of the different personalities we have here. My suggestion is that if you don't like someone or some page, stay away from them or off of their page... but no one has the right to tell anyone else who they can associate with or buy things from.

People are stupid the world over :/ *sigh* All we can hope for is that all evil deeds will be repaid twofold or that Karma is still making her rounds =]

2. 6/10 - (Part 2) While mowing the lawn and edging the property border, I had to walk along the neighboring pebble filled landscaping. As I soon discovered, the local feline population was using this pebble filled xeriscaping as a litter box. I had another hour or two of work to complete before my duties were fulfilled. I continued working outside, removing weeds, trimming bushes, raking dead leaves from flower and plant beds, etc. My last tasks were to water the potted plants, which was made very complicated because the only garden hose had an old split/hole near the end which sprayed my shoes and pants to the point where they were basically soaked. At this point, I couldn't see any poo on my shoes but the smell seemed like it was following me everywhere.

Well, when it rains it pours :/ My checking account was just wiped out :/ I went to check my most recent deposit and I have some crazy charge on it with some ATM charges - I have emailed my bank and will call them in the AM to stop that quickly.

I think I better get some more money in the bank to cover my bills, but I have to make sure no one can charge anything first :/

I am reading funny messages on a site called Top Pics of All Time - SmartphOWNED Very funny, some of these =] Better than worrying about my bank :/

There is nothing you can do until morning unless your bank has a 24/7 customer service line.
I have to try and get some rest. I hope everything goes ok Lisa.

No, they do not have a 24 hour customer service line. I'll call them tomorrow and ask what I need to do. I have emailed the company that made the charge and told them I will be fighting it and they need to gather whatever information they have on the WHO made the charge.

Just over 4 hours left to work, then home for a couple of hours before anything opens :/

6/10 #2 funny story

My mom lives in Northeast and had to fly to Texas. She found it curious that when she stepped off the plane the gate attendant said to her, "Set your watch! You're in TEXAS now!" LOL She said she felt like she had been called out

I would change banks. The last 2 banks I had notified ME --- that's the way it's supposed to work, they have a fraud protection team that does all that......charges are made but not authenticated.......before they are authenticated the fraud unit catches them. No money was ever removed from my account and the one they missed was immediately given back to me.

Sorry you're going thru such a stressful experience though. I would seriously inquire as to what kinds of protections they have for their customers though?

In the meantime however I got distracted by a post in the "Vaping Drama" facebook page, which throws a little mud on the image of everybody's vape hero.. Vapor Joe..

I wasnt aware of this drama, but I see no reason why a publicist should not get paid for what they do.

I think his only error was in not being truthful about it if he does get a little coin from doing this "job". also have no problem with making a little off clicks.....pays the website hosting fees, and for some of your time.
He IS providing a service after all, or people wouldn't go there.

Well, I don't spend for 6 months besides the monthly basics, then I may spend A LOT in a single weekend. They close my acct each time I have done this and it pisses me off. Now I have my entire acct wiped out and Where T H are they? I buy everything online, I pay all of my bills online, so who is at fault? Just the thief I would say. How are they supposed to know that it isn't me when I shop online every week?

** UPDATE **
Just called Fraud Risk Prevention Service - they'd left me several messages... which means they were about to shut my acct down if I didn't return their call. We discussed my charges, they shut my acct down and said I need to get a new card... I will call my bank in the AM to see what I need to do since I have bills coming due and do auto-pay on most everything.
