I have no problem with people discussing different types of gear than I carry. I generally have a pretty good idea of what I don't want to carry and why. Sometimes I hear interesting things about other stuff from this group and look into it further though.

glad to be home finally, though! Being in a strange place with a scared one year old is no fun.
Supposed to thunder here and I hope it does! I love it. But it looks really sunny right now, so we'll see.

My 9/11 girls team (GO TIGERS!) were scheduled for ONE night game this season. Softball under the lights... something poetic about it. That one night game is tonight.
BUT... it has been raining all morning. Heavy at times, but mostly just a steady, constant drizzle. If it doesn't stop soon... those poor girls won't get their night game.
I haz sad.

1- Hi all, what a night, had a blast yesterday at 6 flags America, then last night the son got sick, puke and poo everywhere, he just had another diaper blow out water type of thin, going to call and see if we can get him in.
At least I have an extraction cleaner for the carpet, now if only it worked for him too lol.

I so feel your pain! I have both a roof leak and a northside wall leak, and when we got 10" of rain in 48 hours in AR last week, I was bitin my nails. I am still stressed from that!

Ohhhhhhh yeah!! LEAKS ... Here ... And a building I own about an hour from here ... AND in FL at my tiny little condo! When it RAINS it POURS ... For me anyway! Sigh!! STRESSFUL!!

been missing you guys and gals this weekend.
i am back at work and in a terrible mood. been arguing a lot with the wifey this weekend. she messed up our taxes pretty bad, lost a significant amount of money b/c she filed, without discussing it with me, while i wasn't home and claimed Levi. she made 7k last year and didnt qualify for a full EIC, or even a small one. it will take 8-12 weeks for me to get a response on the amended returns i have to file and mail to state and fed. i am so frustrated. shes taking the kid up to her folks in phx......

GRRRRRR.... temper flaring.
For the last 2 months we've been putting up with the neighbor's house being completely renovated - I'm talking the entire house stripped to the studs, inside and out, roofing stripped off, etc. - with additions being added; About 3 weeks ago, the contractor decided that the CMU wall between the properties needed to be reinforced (that's because they bumped it with a backhoe), so they pounded rebar into the wall from the top, then had a company come and fill the whole wall with concrete. So these ...... spilled concrete all on our side and splattered a bunch of stuff, including our glass-topped patio table. The Wife went over there and let the owners know (who are very nice people), and they informed the contractor. He didn't do squat; the neighbors asked me a week later if they cleaned it up - they had to tell him again. The next day a couple of his guys come over with some rags - I was busy working, so I couldn't monitor their work. In case people here don't know, dried on concrete is not easy to remove, and a couple of rags ain't going to do it! Today, I finally get around to checking it out... what's that saying? "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself."
The Wife is pretty peeved too (and that's a very not good thing).
