Well, I went and did it. I submitted for verification  At least, I THINK I did. The form just reset itself once I submitted it, and I'm a wee bit scared of sending it twice...

We'll see!

Congratulations in advance! Be patient, it took over a week for my verification to go through.

It really sucks here. Pushing over 110, only a swamp cooler... Need to get a freon(?) boost for my car. the air works but not nearly as well as it used to. any suggestions on one of the (must be easy) inexpensive Do-it-Yourself A/C car kits?

We are going to be sunny, dry and 118 DEGREES tomorrow.

Connecticut is experiencing its 2nd wettest month in recorded history, with three days left and rain in the forecast it will probably break the rainfall record. Anyone else all wet?

I can drink hot coffee while walking around in my skivvies complaining about how hot it is. Forget can: I HAVE done this :D But if you want it cold, try making cold brew coffee concentrate (http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-mak...-crowd-cooking-lessons-from-the-kitchn-187198). It keeps in the fridge and you can use it to whip up iced coffee or a nice cup of hot coffee. Also, make up some coffee ice cubes. Few things are nastier IMO than creamy iced coffee with regular ice cubes melting and diluting everything down...
I took your coffee ice cubes advice and made a rack. what a HUGE difference it makes!! still poured the extra strong hot coffee over ice, then quickly transitioned into my mug full of coffee cubes. was awesome and not diluted at all!
i may try this concentrate as well :) thanks for the advice!

The coffee ice cubes make a world of difference. I like juice cubes too, OJ especially. Put some juice cubes in a glass and top with seltzer water and perhaps some lemonade. Yummmmmmmm.

And I'm not 100% sure where I'm going to go once verified. Likely a DIY coop of some sort; I've got some great bottle and VG sources but I have no need for the minimum quantities available...
