Thanks Tina!!
It's amazing how I draw food blanks :)

7/1 #3

I can always think of what to do with other people's food. It's figuring out what to do with mine I seem to have problems with

Which reminds me: tonight is cooking night. I have kale, bok choy, and green beans to deal with. I've also thawed out some homemade stock (either turkey or chicken, unknown for sure since I didn't label it because I'm a dunderhead). I'm tempted to try my hand at a knock off of the Thai veggie soup we had Friday night using all of the above. It was delicious warm but I think it would actually be very nice chilled as well.

So what kinda Sauce for the pizza? BBQ tomato white?

That soup sounds good but hubby won't eat soup. A thick stew maybe.

Rosemary chicken pizza I've had with alfredo sauce or just olive oil and garlic instead of sauce. I could see pesto working really well too.

Thai chicken pizza I've always had with peanut sauce instead of marinara.

#5 Rent day.:grr: All my money gets handed to the landlord. Goodbye vape money. I'll miss spending you on vapegear.

So a little over a year ago, my brother came to town and, when he left, he forgot his phone at my sister's house. I got a message from him asking me to go and get it because she still hasn't mailed it back to him. sheesh.

Planning on going to my local b&m today to get a lesson in coiling RBAs. I know there are lots of utube videos on the subject, but the owner offered and it would be good to get some "classroom" education on the subject. Hope I can pick it up fast. I've heard some horror stories.

Happy New Year, Steve!!

NP GaMntGirl!

I think I've got a game plan for tonight's cooking. Cooking should actually be in quotes since a fair amount won't actually be cooked... I can only eat so much hot food in the summer ya'll!

  • cucumber salad
  • kale slaw
  • sauteed kale
  • sauteed bok choy
  • black bean salad
  • tuna salad (to eat wrapped in bok choy leaves)
  • browned ground venison for lettuce wraps (well, bok choy wraps)
  • seared green beans
  • fruit salad
  • batch of brown rice
  • batch of quinoa
This in addition to the salad greens I've got should get me through most of the week just in time for next weekend's veggie box delivery... I need to check the sales for the week and find some meat on the cheap for Thursday's festivities.

Tina you forgot Kale chips. Lay kale
Out in pan. Sprinkle with olive oil. I add garlic. Then pop in 350 oven till they crunch like a chip :)

Would that I could, but I have no oven. Going on 7 years now and thanks to a grill and a rotisserie capable toaster oven I actually don't miss it. Thanksgiving turkey gets grilled roasted every year, and I've made everything from cornbread to from scratch pumpkin pie in the toaster oven. But it's not really big enough for kale chips (and to tell the truth, I don't have enough kale right now!)

5. 7/1 - A picture is worth a few words at least...

On the left, is a Vamo in 18350 mode (if you can't tell). The copper mod (#3) has an 18500 IMR with a shortstop fuse for added safety. I have a matching section for the middle to allow for an 18650, but my 18500's needed some use. I got a kick clone to work in it, but it turns out I don't like them. The only reason that cartotank is empty is my lack of a cartopunch. I probably won't use a cartotank on it much anyways, that's not it's primary function. I only put that on for relevance to this contest, and as a size reference (1" diameter tank)
