I would feel much safer using a shortstop. The first build i did, came in at 1.2ish, after a couple hours i couldnt get it to work, and put it on the vamo for a 9.9 (short) read. I was fortunate to not have some type of hazardous catastrophe! It was this experience that has encouraged me to research the need for the shortstop or something similar. and i think i will quickly invest in one

2: Your not kidding about that, for instance. The gas attack in Syria is blamed on Assad. The question becomes why is the person who is winning the battle bomb his own people to bring attention or other people against him? Never mind that there is video you can watch on who loaded their mortars with the chemicals and shot them, Al-CIAida. Even the pictures shown of the dead people and children aren't even from this attack used to pull at your emotions to get you to agree to another war.

common practice to use stock disturbing middle eatern war footage and casualty images to enrage the pubil to push them towards an agenda. i have seen john stewart catch this, and many sites that are quick to point them out when discovered. i have not seen the video you have mentioned. while i like being awake, i have not the energy at this specific time to become enraged. a link, perhaps in a PM would be appreciated for viewing possibly tomorrow.

5. 8/28 - Hello Hillbillie! Not the first time I've seen you around, glad you made it here. No offense to the rest of you nice folks, but I've got to say it's nice to have another fellow Texan in here. Being a contest run by a vendor that lives and works in Texas was one of the reasons I came here in the first place. That, and the excellent tanks of course.

@LD- if the atty doesn't work on a mechanical and your Vamo reads it as 9.9 ohms, you probably popped a coil or the wire came off the post. coils pop more often with RBAs using SS mesh, but any coil has the potential to pop. A bad kink or nick in the wire can cause this even when you're not using SS mesh. One way this can easily happen is after unscrewing a coil that has been tightened down to add another wrap, leaving a kink or nick in the wire. Never take rebuilding for granted, no matter how good you get at it.

I was thinking something along those lines. or the coil somehow started touching the post, but after trying to adjust it maky times i gave up and tossed the coil.

spent a lot of time in the last couple days here at work reading wiki on the 5 crime families and various mafioso. i dont feel any wiser for all this reading, but i do enjoy the topic. need to watch some more mafia movies, though i feel like i have seen all the main ones. left on my list are a bronx tale and the iceman.
