So I went to my very first "vapemeet" this weekend. It was at some restaurant in Orange County, CA. When I walked in, seriously felt like a flashback to my early high school days. Completely hotboxed with vapey-goodness. Honestly have never seen so many beautiful mech's in my life.

Very stoked for ECC in September...anybody going?

hmm, quiet round these parts.

still have substance, no need for numbers :)

built my first Ithaka coil just a little bit ago. was thinking it was gonna be a failure, esp after the first wire broke while i was adjusting the coil. my second wrap was a success and clocks in at an even 2.0ohm, suitable for my VW and hits well. a tad harshness, but i think it may need to wick a little longer. or, i need to adjust the 'feeding hole'?
either way, i am pleasantly satisfied with this intimidating beast.

our weekend in phoenix was good. danced, shot guns, and ate some good grub. (not simultaneously)
hadn't gone shooting in years, forgot how much fun destroying things with high velocity metal bits could be!

got a new and much needed laptop as a late birthday present. figuring out windows 8 is such a headache. not much enjoying the OS so far. ill get used to it (and the somewhat strange layout of various keys on the keyboard) but in the meantime it feels foreign and difficult to do basic things.

not sure if i mentioned this, while we were in NYC my car was broken into as it sat back at my house. someone forced the back window down, nothing was stolen, i dont have anything valuable in my car. it was 300$ to fix the window.
it happened again over the weekend while i was in phx. i am livid, and cannot afford to fix the window again.
i want to move.
what are my options? my pops told me to file a report with the cops.. i dont see what benefit that could possible result in.

#1 The only thing filing a report will really do is make you have to talk to the cops a bunch, and alert them that there is some crime taking place in your neighborhood. Which isn't news at all here in Tucson. However, you should probably create the documentation just in case they ever do catch the perp, so you can sue them later for all the damage to your car. Not that its likely. Break ins aren't a real high priority for the cops around here. Personally, I don't deal with the cops AT ALL EVER. The police are so useless, power hungry and corrupt around here that its not only pointless but also potentially dangerous for you, even if you are the victim. That is, of course, my opinion, so take it for what its worth. But I have had some very negative experiences with them over the years. YMMV

Good morning!

Funny...I've never watched "Once Upon a Time" because the little boy is related to an ex (psychotic) bf and I have an aversion of anything having to do with him. I've heard it's a good show though! :)

Sorry you gotta work, glassman....but I know how THAT feels. "Mission essential" personnel know no holidays (unless, of course, it should just happen to fall on a day off).
