Just got a 750 watt inverter and a 3-stage trickle-charger from Harbor Freight for $66. Now all the "guy" shopping is done. Waiting at JC Penney while my wife and daughter shop for jeans. Wonder what their vaping policy is? At least I can do some reading/posting.

Vaping policy? Rarely does such a thing exist...
I've never been questioned vaping in shopping areas. Granted, I don't blast huge clouds of vapor in Wally-world, either...

In my considered opinion, it is better to beg forgiveness than ask permission. So, I say VAPE ON bro and enjoy. Shopping with the girls is not fun for the guys, or so you guys say.

BTW, nice price on the inverter and trickle charger! I will check them out. I have a 2000 watt in the truck and it is OLD. Never hurts to have a backup. I am pretty picky about the brand, however. Do not sleep well on top of an inverter I don't trust. Have you ever seen a big rig burn to the ground? It is really ugly. Last one I saw was at the Petro in Las Vegas, NV. Thank God the couple was in the restaurant when it started. Would have been really ugly if they were sleeping! Supposedly from a short in something...

The inverter & charger are for my daughter's high school band. They are doing a Queen halftime show and needed a portable power system to power a couple of small amps and a keyboard for a pit band. The inverter got good reviews, but it's not going to be used for long stretches like you would have in a rig. 10 minute or less show once/week at about 400W total draw is not really stressing it hard. Hope the modified-sine doesn't introduce too much noise into the equipment.
