That is so wrong! Especially in health care. Was she a 'pool' or an employee?

i know... she could get charged for abandoning residents and get her license suspended.
she called back later and said she was sick... IDK. pretty sketchy to me.

4. 8/31 - Most folks that ditch their shift don't think of the consequences. Hating the job or employer is often understandable, but the employees that have to pick up the slack rarely deserve it. I'm guilty of it myself though, especially after finding out I was getting paid half of what was promised after getting the first full paycheck. Some employers will promise anything, especially to fill salary positions. It wasn't anything as critical as healthcare, that would be very wrong IMO.

and that's exactly it. it left us with 3 CNA's taking care of 40 residents at a time and 1 CNA bathing.
if it was a job where your co-workers didn't rely on you as much it would be a bit different (and as said- this is healthcare.)
the RN went so far as to say she was addicted to substances. (I don't know about that)
