5. 8/31 - After decades of slicing jalapenos I really should consider eye protection. After dozens of incidents, I still haven't taken the precaution once. I type this with one eye pouring tears. That better be some tasty tomatillo sauce! Sweets have love baked in, spicy foods may have some pain involved. ;)

Sounds dangerous?! How do you get rid of the pepper substance that they say can't be washed off/out?

Just keep letting the tears flow. I've found that using an optic rinse or eye drops just makes it worse. It doesn't last too long anyways. It is ironic that this happens when I'm coring the some of the jalapenos to cut back on spice.

I guess everyone is out and about or watching "that show". I'm totally skipping the hassle this week, not a single thing I would want. I have recently learned that shipping out PIF items is not cheap, I don't need anymore "stuff" to give away. I'm picking my contests carefully now.

Edit: This discovery was not so recent! Sending out a whole bunch at once was where it really hit me.

#5 for 08/31

PIF is nice all by itself. I would think the receiver would pay shipping. No? I would just do a shipping label and email to you (or whoever) so you wouldn't have to pay shipping. I may not understand PIF very well.

I had a south of the border drip tip the other night because I didn't wash my hands when done with the jalapenos killer crop this year:evil:
