#1 for 09/01

Good Morning all! I don't think I said "welcome", "welcome back" (I am a relative newbie here) or just plain "hello" HB, but I am saying all three thing morning!

I think folks with SS don't want to wrap because the stainless doesn't get fubared like some of the other finishes so there is less need to wrap. I do not know fer sure though. I have 1, count it "1" lonely mod and it is SS. Finish is just like day 1 and I don't want to wrap that one for the reason I mentioned. I do like some of the wraps I have seen though.

Thanks for the reply, glowplug. Wonder how it makes it fubared tho. Seems like you'd be able to remove any residual adhesive, no?

Drinking and mech mods don't mix.

Somehow, last night, I didn't notice my vapor production dropping off on the mod I was using. Hit this morning and well... I was quite disappointed.

Pulled the battery out and put it on the charger, only the charger didn't engage. So I put the battery on the multimeter... 2.6 volts. Ugh. Now it won't charge.

Don't drink and Vape mech mods!

Love the new avi SJ.
Spagetti sauce freezes well and pasta can be boiled while heating sauce up.
Pizza. I keep premade dough in fridge. Thaw spagetti sauce with meat and cheese to top it.
Brisket= BBQ or pot roast or sloppy joes or even pot pie ( add frozen mixed veggies and cream of ___ soup top with puff pastry or biscuits from a can)

All quick easy and work night meals. The hard part is the making sauce or cooking brisket. Which I did on weekends when I worked. Even froze some meals in TV. Tray type plastic wear for pull out and nuke meals. But I loaded my bread maker every night and had fresh bread for breakfast cinnamon toast. Or as my daughter calls it "crunchies"

I was referring to the way some chrome and gun metal chrome finishes just rub off with usage and time. Not that the wraps would fubar the mod. A SS just doesn't get blotchy or rub off like the chromed ones can. I think a wrap would be cool. I am not going to do it because mine is a telescoping and I know I would get it wrong and be very disappointed in the result. I have never been good with that stuff. When I change the screen saver on my phone, I go to the local Verizon store and have the expert do it...she gets it PERFECT every time. Wonder if she does wraps? Humm...needs field work!

#3 The wraps don't mess up the finish on the devices. I think glowplug was referring to how the chrome finishes get really messed up after a while of using them. I have personal experience with this. My chrome Vamo is an incredibly ugly beast after 6 months of use. I wrapped it to hide it's shame. ;) However, my SVD is stainless, and I will probably never wrap that one, not because the wrap would mess it up, but because it doesn't need to be covered. It will always be beautiful.

Schnarph, you could always wrap one of your devices for a while and then take it off. Its not like they're permanent. just my :2c:
