1. 9/5 - Good morning/night indeed!

I got one of those SS Chi Chi-You mods on Monday. I'm kinda freaked out by it, it's more of a counterfeit than a clone. I thought it was going to have a laser engraved "8888" serial number but that is not the case, it appears to be "unique" 4 digit number. Taken apart it is all great and looks just like pics of the real thing. Not being the type to purchase knock offs of expensive, designer fashion accessories, I have never had this issue to consider. Owning this thing feels wrong.

Do you know who made it?

The boys were fishing when I got home so I got Wifey settled and went out and meet them. I was out with them 2 hrs and caught 4 bass, here's the nicest one.

2. 9/5 - I really shouldn't complain, at least not in here. I thought I knew what I was getting myself into... has anyone here ever tried to polish out a laser engraved logo from SS?

After looking at both from their respective websites, I am 99% sure it is Hcigar. Brass top and bottom pins, smooth threading... what kind of profit are these guys making anyways? Even with workers being paid in peanuts these materials and the tools required to make them are not that cheap.

It was about 3lbs or so, not bad for a spur of the moment thing! the other nice one was just a bit smaller , then the other 2 were about a pound and a half each. Not near the one in my avatar, it was over 6lbs.

My M16 sentenil clone is in Pa. it should be here later today or tomorrow. I would gladly trade you Schnarph if that would help ease your guilt! LOL! I even have the 24kt trident clone coming to match it, all thanks to my son.


I've gotta try and get some rest, I have to get up in less than 4hrs.

Ah, the inevitable response to a complaint about a shiny new mod. Worst case scenario I would like to get the $27 I spent back, but I'll keep that in mind.

Your son is very kind, I bet you'll like what you're getting. FYI, those o-rings look like they're pretty hard to deal with, maybe lube them with some PG or something before trying to put it together or take it apart.

Ok I made it to work on time after less than 3hrs sleep. My M16 sentinel clone should be at home when I get off work it hit my local post official at about 6 this morning. That will make the last few hours of work drag on forever.

Somebody took a hit alright, and it wasn't me this time. It looks exactly like the Hcigar version which is a "perfect" clone of the original. Still waffling on what to do with it right now, I have more interesting vape stuff to play with...

2- It might be able to be buffed out easily with a dremel tool and buffing compound.

This may be a case where it's better to keep it...
If you don't sell it, then no-one will ever try to pass that unit off as an original.;-)

I'm really surprised that they even included the style of Mojo tag... I'm really quite disappointed.

edit: I'd grind they mojo lettering off the bottom, instead of the serial number. IMO that is what truly defines it as a knock-off, more than the serial... just my
