1. 9/11- Once again, I was just answering questions and didn't start the topic. Rebuildable atty topics could be discussed by PM only, I'm fine with that. Using an anti-oxidant paste on PV
threads and connectors is a topic that should help most folks in here, no matter what kind of atty goes on top. That, and
batteries and battery safety are good things for any e-cig user to know about. Not that I'm an expert, I can only speak of what I learned or was told by smarter folks than myself.
I put no-ox-id on all the
threads and contacts,
sparingly. It definitely helps the "action" on tube threads, like a grease lubricant. I wouldn't call it "food safe", but it is "non-toxic" and "environmentally friendly". From what I understand, all mods "should" get some Noalox or no-ox-id on the threads and other connections (
especially non-stainless steel). It's the mod that needs it, regardless of the atty used. I wouldn't put any in the 510/atty connection though. You
might not notice much if any performance difference with a VV/VW device, but it makes the threads happy. YMMV, etc.
