One of my auto batteries will not turn off unless the ash cap is pointed down. It just started doing this. I began using this battery about two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I just passed 45 days from purchase..... I was phasing out of another product/brand before moving fully onto V4L. I realize I'm out of luck as far as a return, but has anyone ever experienced this? If so, any suggestions before I just try whacking it on my desk?

I'm always amazed at some of the odd issues that come with these batteries. Lisa66, I agree with Betty/Pablo/Morandir about contacting C.S. even if you are passed your 45 days.

I just dissected an auto battery for an upcoming video and I can tell you that there is nothing inside a battery that could become a loose part so-to-speak to cause your issue.

Pablo-Betty, if you have an old auto laying around that isn't seeing any service these days and you want to play around with it. Pop the Ash Cap off, next to the logic chip you'll see a power lead solder, short it, lay a needle on it and ground it to the housing....the led will come on and blink 3 times in recharge mode....funny. I have a charging issue on another auto, I wonder if popping a short will reset the logic board......
