Weird green stuff?

So I always like to keep my stuff nice and shiny but when I clean the devices I sometimes notice some green stuff around the thread connections on both my vaporizer and the tank. I would take pictures but I just cleaned them off and thought to post a question AFTER (yeah I'm a smart one). It's easy to clean, just a qtip or paper towel, both dry, and it comes right off. Is this normal?

It's probably some verdigris, which is likely tarnish from the contacts -- assuming you have copper or brass contacts. Nothing to worry about, just clean it.

I get green, what almost looks like slime when I mix juices together.( yellow with red or pink)

It looks strange, but it still tastes normal. I wouldn't worry about it.

In almost two years of vaping, I've never heard of green slime in juice. Please start a thread as I'm dying to see who else has seen this.

i have never heard of this either any pics? ohh sorry i misread op said in the threads .
I'm guessing from copper in the 510 connector and possible some juice leaking in there.
however what freeall said worries me

yeah mine was just in the threads, but the green slime is a littler disconcerting...

It's not actual slime lol, it's just the mixture of coloured juices gives it almost like a glowing neon greenish colour. I'll make sure to take a pic next time it happens.

juice and copper/copper bearing metals = green slime
stainless steel and juice = juicy threads

probably just the oxidation on the copper OR you've created the new super slime that will wipe out humanity..*eh* either way

Yep. Copper and brass "rust" green. No big deal. If the contact gets too dull and brown, power down the unit and use a bit of vinegar on a q tip to clean it off. It'll shine like new. Then clean it with everclear and let air dry.

And so in the year 2015... the Zombie Apocalypse began. Who would have thought that a little green ejuice could have started the whole thing? If the government thought vaping was bad for you before now, wait until they find out about this.
