So I've been having a difficult time with vape tongue for over a month. I'm starting to get some taste back but I've noticed that juice that I vaped yesterday is unvapable today. It's been happening a lot to me. The juice( I've tried three different flavors) all taste either burnt or very strong of chemicals and I can't get thought vaping more than a few hits. The juices are quality, I've used two different tanks, using bvc coils. Nothing has changed other than it tasting like crap. I want to enjoy vaping as a hobby and it's proving quite difficult. Has anyone experienced this?

Yes, this is what we call vaper's fatigue or vape tongue. Several methods to over come it, one the best advice is to be drinking a lot more water to keep hidrated. Second if that is not helping is to vape on a liquid with an acidic quality, citruses, bananas, cinamons, and the most surprising to most a cucumber flavor mixed with a spearmint (some reason the cucumber flavoring is a palette cleanser and the spearmint helps mask the flavor of it). A lot of those flavors require a glass tank as due to their acidic nature they do not react well with plastic tanks, thus their terms called "Tank Cracker, Tank Melters". If you are getting chemically after tones from the flavorings, try a few more different vendors of juices to find one that doesn't have these tones, being as your new taste buds grow, they are more sensitive as they have not been damaged from cig smoke's caustic bath.

This advice came from Shipmonster of this parish. Rinse out your nasal cavity. No, seriously, it works. Check this video:

That is exactly where I got the tip and have never looked back. I do it once or twice a week and it works like a charm. I thought it would be awful but now I have got to where I really enjoy the benefits so much I can't believe how I lived without it especially during allergy season here in Texas.

I have had 2 nasal surgeries and I have bad allergies. I used to use that method but now I have gotten used to just putting my hands under the sink and sucking up tap water into my sinuses and blowing it out. It was a little rough at first, but I very rarely get sinus infections anymore. I used to get 3- 4 per year. I have pollops also so constant flushing really helps with all that.

I do this probably 2-3 times a day, it only takes seconds. I must never get "Vaper's Fatigue" because the sinuses are squeaky clean. I do though get a film in my mouth that dull's the taste of juice. I call that Vaper's Tongue.
Citrus or acidic fluids cut through that film and minimize it's affect. There are a number of methods out there.

Two words Naegleria Fowleri. DO NOT USE TAP WATER EVER!!! Especially in warm climates. That is unless you want to take the chance that an amoeba will eat your brain; I kid you not. I know it sounds alarmist but almost no municipalities would treat their water supply efficiently to kill amoebas as they are so rare. Next, Naegleria is almost always fatal, and treatment is experimental at best.

Everyone thinks I am nuts when I say this but Neti pot. It's amazing what you can taste when you sinuses are firing on all cylinders.
Exactly. Of failing that you can snort home made saline straight out of a bowl. Everything tastes better when it's all clear in your sinuses.

I have been doing it for years and my ENT has no problem with it if you can stand it. I can.
Thanks though...
