weird spicey taste

Okay so sometimes when i take a drag, i get a weird spicey kinda taste. Its usually only after i havent taken a drag from that carto in a while. I use a volt with volt cartos. It has happened with more than one flavour of e juice too, So its not a specific flavour.

Its almost a burnt taste but more spicey than burnt. Really weird!
I can feel it like lingering on my touch too for a bit when it happens. Then after a few puffs it stops and tastes normal. My capacino and watermellon have done it, but I think at least 2 others too.

Its acually kinda sweet too, Like burnt sugar. But the cartos are not burning, Because the first time it happened was with a brand new prefilled one, and it stoped after 3 drags. Is this something to do with the liquid, Like if its not dispersed all over the filling, So it gives you a burny taste randomly? i dunno>
