weird taste when vaping

hi i have only been vaping for 4 days and when i inhale vapor i taste some of the falvour and some of it is burnt but my coil is in perfect shape and i dont know what to do

when putting a new coil in (or when you first got it) after filling the tank did you let it sit for at least 10 minutes or more?
The wick needs time to become fully saturated before vaping

What are you doing to prime the coils? Is the only thing your doing to let it sit? Or are you also dripping some ejuice on the cotton, and taking a few pulls without firing the mod to make sure air bubbles have stopped coming up?

I just nexgen is an AIO non adjustable power output device and uses the HW type replacement heads.
Using the .2Ω hw1 head starting off fully charged 88ish w as the voltage decreases to the low voltage cutoff 51ish w.

This is more of a Dtl big cloud type setup, trying to Mtl will cause burnt funky tastes.
How do you have the airflow set?
You have to move quite a bit of air through the delivery device to aide in cooling the coil.
Are you taking fast strong inhales or slow & smooth?

What Pg/Vg ratio?

Good on putting juice directly on the coil, and letting it sit for a while.

You should add taking some drags without power a few times, til you stop seeing bubbles come up. Close the airflow holes if you can while doing this.

Are you using a max VG ejuice? If your juice is too thick it might be causing it to wick to slowly for your style of vaping....

You could try a different juice blend and see if another blend does a little better also, if the zero power pulls with closed airflow before vaping doesn't help.

IIt may be too thin.. a 50/50 blend is what we use in pods, while your using a DL device.. so try going heavier on the VG..

The setup you're using is designed more for folks that use a Dtl hard/fast/rapid unrestricted airflow inhale technique.
More of a cloud maker, not so good for replicating the draw of a cigarette / restricted airflow.
The heads work best with higher Vg, like at least 40Pg / 60 Vg, better 30Pg / 70Vg or 20Pg / 80 Vg.

Even using higher % Vg it is still designed for Dtl (unrestricted rapid airflow), trying to Mtl (slow smooth inhale) will still create issues.

no sense, with thiner liquid avoids a lot dry hits compared to ticker one, seems like OP just got a defective premade coil...
