I'll start - I pulled a sticker off of my jeans last night and reached down to throw it away, but there was no ashtray. I had to think for a minute of what to do with it.

It's weird not having a lighter handy when you need to light a candle or to burn the oil from Kanthal wire. Also (and I realize I'm probably just very lucky) haven't had a cold since I stopped smoking.
When I run to answer the door or the phone I find myself thinking Oh crap! Left something burning!
Not having an ashtray around for me as well. I used to use it for throwing stuff away more than for cigarettes.
Not having a lighter handy for those few moments like lighting a birthday cake at a family event. "Nick do you have a lighter?" "yeah hold one sec...wait uh no"
when i step outside on a windy day and raise my PV to take a vape, I automatically lift the other hand to form a windbreak for my non existent lighter.
Friends who only smoke occasionally following me around waiting to bum a cigarette off of me. Outta luck Babydoll.
It's been a year and a half for me and I still look for the ashtray. Nowhere to put small bits of fuzz, string, assorted bits of whatever. Nowhere to put the ticks picked off the dog (and husband) for cremation. Yep, I miss the ashtray the most.

I used to really hate people asking to bum a free cigarette off me, every single time I'd step outside to have a smoke at our local shopping mall. I know I should have said "no" but I had a hard time doing that.... would just fume about it . Now they are all SOL, hahaha!
I kept my ashtrays around so I could keep using them as trashtrays lol
Reminds me of smoking. I'll clean them up an put them away. One is actually in use as a cat feed plate (Yes, my ashtrays were that big)

I will never stop putting the car window down when driving... 1 I don't have AC in my car so in the summer they have to be down, and 2 I am so accustomed to the airflow it bothers me not to have it... I keep my window at least cracked unless it is TORRENTIALLY raining.. I'm talking rain, snow, sleet, hail, windstorm, dustclouds, apocolypse....
okay maybe not the last couple... but you get the idea... it is practically stuck open...
I use carts or clearos when I'm out and about in the daytime. Later in the evening, it's time
to relax, so I like to grab a basket of flavors and start dripping. It doesn't cross my mind in
the daytime, but when it's time to drip and I put on the drip tip and grab a bottle of juice,
it momentarily runs through my mind that I need my lighter. Different process, I guess, left
over from a discontinued different habit.
