No, no, a thousand times NO!
Other peoples' psychological problems are not my responsibility to cater to. If I'm not doing anything to harm them (actual, physical harm), then it's their problem, not mine. I won't blow big clouds in someone's face, but I take issue with "the sight of that disturbs me, so you shouldn't do it"
I will NOT live my life based on someone else's feels
Okay. With all due respect... It's not only about how someone else "feels". The war on cigarette smoke has been fought for a long while and it has changed society's perception of people standing around with White plumes emitting from their mouths and noses. It is perceived as a health threat (because it is with cigarettes and, may possibly prove to be with vaping to a lesser degree - that jury is still out).
From a distance, it is impossible to distinguish someone vaping from someone smoking. I submit that your passion for vaping and educating the world, while honourable and full of good intent, is the reason we are facing legislative issues. No one on the anti-smoking and anti-vaping legislation side of this argument wants to see plumes of smoke (or vapour) re-normalized. Like it or not, it's a fact. Trying to "normalize vaping" will be far worse than having to smoke outside. It will mean no access to nicotine juices. This will have devastating consequences for some of us.
Please, we don't have to agree with the confusion and aversions others have with smoking versus vaping but, for the love of vaping, we do need to repect the very real consequences of our own "I can vape anywhere" attitudes.
