No, no, a thousand times NO!

Other peoples' psychological problems are not my responsibility to cater to. If I'm not doing anything to harm them (actual, physical harm), then it's their problem, not mine. I won't blow big clouds in someone's face, but I take issue with "the sight of that disturbs me, so you shouldn't do it"

I will NOT live my life based on someone else's feels

Okay. With all due respect... It's not only about how someone else "feels". The war on cigarette smoke has been fought for a long while and it has changed society's perception of people standing around with White plumes emitting from their mouths and noses. It is perceived as a health threat (because it is with cigarettes and, may possibly prove to be with vaping to a lesser degree - that jury is still out).

From a distance, it is impossible to distinguish someone vaping from someone smoking. I submit that your passion for vaping and educating the world, while honourable and full of good intent, is the reason we are facing legislative issues. No one on the anti-smoking and anti-vaping legislation side of this argument wants to see plumes of smoke (or vapour) re-normalized. Like it or not, it's a fact. Trying to "normalize vaping" will be far worse than having to smoke outside. It will mean no access to nicotine juices. This will have devastating consequences for some of us.

Please, we don't have to agree with the confusion and aversions others have with smoking versus vaping but, for the love of vaping, we do need to repect the very real consequences of our own "I can vape anywhere" attitudes.

Then you are saying that someone else's feelings should trump reality, and we should concede

You are advocating for a concession to the antis without any return on investment. While some people MAY be against vaping from the standpoint of a misunderstanding ("vaping = smoking"), the leaders of the opposition are in it because they don't like vaping, period (BP, BT, legislatures discovering that vaping results in lost tax revenue). Those enemies aren't going to quit because we agree to act like we're still smokers: conceding that ground just let's them move to the next step that much sooner.

I've been down the slippery slope before. Have no desire to go sledding down it again

No. I have a huge return on investment. I get to continue to buy nicotine ejuice and I get to continue to legally vape. That's the point.

You believe that they'll stop?

They won't... not until (at the very least) we're completely equal to smokers.

High taxes, limited flavors, no vaping anywhere but designated outdoor areas.

Don't believe me? Take a look at MADD
