hi guys! We get fall instead of winter here , sort of . It will go down in the 70s in the winter and like high 50s at night sometimes .

That will be in December and January LOL> Other then that it is much warmer yr round here .

Yeah, but even up around Clearwater, Tampa Bay & New Port Ritchie (where I have, or have had, relatives) the leaves don't actually change colour and fall. I guess you could technically call it "autumn," but it seems like something would need to fall in order to call it "Fall."

Hmmm ,. good point! Oddly enough the tree in my back yard does drop a lot of leaves in the winter , not all of them though.
I really do miss the colors in the fall here because it does get a bit browner but that is about it .

I wondered about that. The couple of times I visited my dad when he was at Tarpon Springs it seemed all the trees were needled. I saw broad-leaved trees on the way down, so I wondered if it was peculiar to that area or if all the non-swamp trees from central Florida and down were firs and pines...

We tend to have a lot of palm trees down this far , and other exotic type trees but ya there are some trees that have ordinary leaves though honestly I couldn't tell you what they are . My knowledge of trees are of the northern variety. We dont have quite as many pines this far down as they do further north in Fl.

We have oak tress here in north Florida. What you can see of them under the spanish moss. Well the beach was beautiful today. high of 84. Now that I'm back in the center of the state I am afraid of how chilly it will get tonight.

Wow ! It is early for you to be that chilly Medic . I looked at your forecast and you should be mid 80s this week so dont despair LOL> We are still at about 90 for this week at least .
