When there is a manufacturing or design issue it most certainly should be a warranty issue ... especially considering the warranty text was changed after OPs purchase to remove the potential liability from the design flaw.

Just my $.02.

make that .04cents!i agree we might get up to a dollar but i dont think it will help pay for hdbangers repairs : o(

if only the supplier would honour their warranty and even if called into question, have compassion and stand by their products design flaw.

It isn't a design flaw eh? That's is why there was a buttload of posts about it, and PS fixed peoples problems. Then they changed the warranty. Now there is a Prodigy V2, stainless steel NOT aluminum, and there is no probs with crossthreading. You get over it, your not helping anyone by being ignorant.

You are becoming quite annoying. PM me your address and Ill send you my spare V1 on the condition that you shut the hell up about your problems and never post on this forum again.

How bout you come yourself and deliver it Brian? Ill give you my address and post a pic of myself, if you promise to deliver it to my door.

Hey. It was a genuine offer. I retract it . Stomp around the forum like an irate two year old all you want. I won't listen any more.

Nope, I don't think it will help hdbanger either ... but after reading so much about these issues I couldn't not say it.

Ticket #6712746. I sent it a f/u on 1/27/10 here are the tickets

I just need to say I got a my response and needed to reponse back that I got very pleasing result from it. I usually get quick responses and results from Puresmoker, this time might have been a fluke. I just want to say I am VERY HAPPY with their product their services and follow-up.

Whoa Joker, no offense to you or Casey or Puresmoker, but I've seen several times on this forum where Casey and other PS staff have posted emails they've received from Customers to prove a point they were trying to make or to clarify a situation. I think it's unfair and hypocritical to allow suppliers a courtesy and not extend that same courtesy to customers.

is this true markarich???isnt it a suspendable offense???even to those who own the subforum there are rules.

do u have any links?

I checked, it appears ChefChris' entire thread was deleted. But here's an example of a personal ticket being made public in a post by PS:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-my-protege-its-not-working-8.html#post787467

Earlier in this thread, ChefChris discusses his posts being deleted. It must be nice to conveniently delete history.

P.S. and here is a post(and the following post by Steve From PS) basically describing the situation and admitting that personal email correspondences were posted(and the entire thread was deleted):

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-my-protege-its-not-working-5.html#post740554

and here's the smoking gun post, an entire customer letter posted on the forum:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/puresmoker/48625-ps-usbpass-died-4.html#post738553

Again, if you're going to let suppliers post emails, letters, PM's without issuing warnings/suspensions, you should also allow customers/consumers post these as well.

See below there is another another rule you may want to familiarize yourself with. In the future, should you have issues with our method of moderating the forum, please use a private message.

You are encouraged to report any instance of rule breaking. We are not perfect and can't see everything that's posted and it takes a little help from users at times. The supplier threads are not watched as closely due the the suppliers being mostly responsible for their forums. On the other hand, when our attention is brought to a thread, then we will at times step in.

Thanks,
j0ker

I love how Steve and Casey totally ignore my valid complaint. They refuse to answer the questions about the changed warranty, or even things Casey said in her own emails to me. First it's " we only fix user error's one time, and you have already had yours fixed", to "the warranty does not cover user error" once I pointed out that I had NOT had it repaired before. They say they don't have a problem with people taking their issues to the forum, I think that's a total lie. Obviously if you make a stink, complain, they just write you off. I have all the emails from PS, I already got a warning for posting them once, but I have proof that they are shafting me. I see Steve reply to many other posts in the time MY issue has been ongoing, not one word from him. They are making this personal now. I'm game.

Posted 02-04-10 at 3:15 p.m. by Casey under V2 update thread:

"Yes, that is the last of it for this week. Sorry kids, Cash and the Mrs and myself and the manfriend needed to take a break this weekend. Doesn't mean we don't love you though "

I believe they all took Friday-Sunday off. That could be why you haven't got any response yet to any of your threads etc.

Cross threading is not a design flaw, it is user error or abuse which is not covered by the warranty. Get over it and be more careful.

Brian

This is not a design flaw? Based on the number of people having this issue; this is a major design flaw which the original warranty should cover.

No, this all started before they even announced that. And Steve has posted in several other threads within the time period, after this went sour. They chose to deliberately blow me off after I first posted on the forums. They will not acknowledge emails, website ticket replies, or forum posts about the issue. I have total proof they are blowing me, I have the emails, there is NO reason for Steve not to chime in, he does on every other thread. Casey said it herself, SHE made a mistake, I had NOT had repairs done before. So first she says, "we only do repairs on user error one time", then after she figures out she made a mistake, she says "user error not covered under warranty".

My first beef with them was that after sending emails and opening tickets on their own website, I had not been answered, yet I come to the forums and see Casey posting left and right. So, to me, this is where you come to get PS to do anything, they read their precious forum before they take care of their own website and emails.
