At two packs a day, I spent well over $200 a month buying by the carton. People tend to balk at the idea of spending $200 on a Provari, but they spent that money gladly on something that they would set fire to and wouldn't last. In the last two years, I've been through a 510, eGo, Riva, a box mod, and finally a Provari. Variable voltage is a good investment whether it's an eGo Twist, a Lavatube, or a higher end mod. Many of the juices that I tried and didn't like are good on a VV mod once you find the voltage that makes them blossom.
I look at the money I spend vaping as a vehicle to better health that also allows me to enjoy the act of consuming nicotine with minimal health risks. We all feared giving up tobacco due to the withdrawal agony. Dropping tobacco is a snap with a good PV. All you have to do is let go and be surprised at how easy it is.
For those who are really addicted to tobacco, I'd recommend keeping only those critical cigs at first, then quitting those after a few months. I dragged it out when I started vaping. The first week, I went from 2 PAD down to about 6 or 7 cigarettes a day. I had two with coffee, one after a meal, and a couple at night before bed. I hung on to those for 2 years while vaping! About three weeks ago, I decided to stop altogether. It was a non-event! If I had known how easy it was to give up my leftover 8 cig a day habit, I would have kicked it long ago.
