After trying a lot of different ways to fill carts for 901 and 84mm, eye droppers(about 8 different ones with bottles and the smallest dropper I can find, amazing how bottle/eye dropper combo is best found at nail salon supply stores which we have about 10 in a .75 mi radius), various mods from the forms, and my wifes diabetic supplies. I have finally fallen in love with syringes(wifes ones are too small except for one type, but I cant use those), perfect for both and does a full fill and is EASY to load the syringe, or so I thought.

Despite the needle being big enough to easily push the plunger down and get the eliquid out, sucking it up is a different story. So I load it in by taking the plunger out and filling it that way. I decide to kill the bottle and fill the 10cc syringe up quite a bit. Now unlike when the plunger is in, the eliquid can escape from the needle, so as usual I am prepared and have the cap over the needle. But not wanting to have any liquid wasted I try to move fast.

Ok, so eliquid is in, 30ml bottle is empty, plunger on the table next to me. I move quickly to set the bottle down, pick up the plunger and then all hell breaks loose. As I am setting the bottle down(on a coffee table in the living room) I bend over and the syringe(still uncapped) empties all the Eliquid on the carpet. Great, now there is a big brownish colored, oily, spot on the white carpet. Now to make matters worse my wife has been feeling ill for the last two days so she is in the bedroom sleeping, as she has been for most of today and yesterday. Needless to say she is not in a great mood.

Here comes the best part, at least for those reading, and the reason why I am in trouble. Last weekend my wife went across the street and rented from the grocery store one of those take home carpet cleaner machines. She spent quite a while using it, and while it is cheaper than having cleaners come, its not cheap after all is added up, and to be honest, our carpet really does look nice(remember its white) so after an entire winter of wearing shoes outside and then comming in it gets pretty dirty(Anyone who lives in a city that gets snow knows what Im talking about).

Now I am going to have a sick, cranky wife wake up in a few hours, come into the living room to get to the kitchen, and see a brown stain on clean white carpet.

F**K

Oh, and I did just waste a bunch of Eliquid, but at least I have plenty left :)

Run out and either rent the machine again and clean the carpet before she gets up or run to WallyWorld and get the little green machine spot remover. You should be able to get this for about the same price as the rental as it is just an area spot remover and you will have it for problems that arise later:) I would certainly try to get this cleaned up asap! Nothing like a sick wife who has spent a lot of time cleaning getting up to a new mess. Don't envy you dude! Good luck!

Well she got me back while I slept. Normally I am all for getting even, but this time Im going to take the high road(ok, I just dont want any more trouble) Thank you all for the tips I am off to go buy some cleaning supplies this morning.

As for the revenge, I drink water out of a empty 2liter bottle, and lets just say I had a present inside my water bottle this morning.

Sorry I read this post too late cause I think I could have helped you.
First, you need to take the upper hand in every situation or people will just walk all over you. You should have waltzed into the bedroom immediately and rolled her out of bed to clean that mess up for you! Yelling at the top of your lungs, ARE YOU GOING TO SLEEP AGAIN ALL DAY? Probably a good time now to give her a little love tap on the side of her head, about half strength. Tell her if there is any sign of a stain when she is done you're going to rub her nose in it.
Then, tell her since she has been sleeping for two days the dishes need to be done. And you're hungry.
Trust me, I know about wives. I've had several already.

Pour water on the stain and suck it out with a shop vac.

Seltzer water is also a good alternative in conjunction with the trust shop vac. Dilute some hydrogen peroxide, spray it on the spot, put a towel over it and let is soak up the stain. Maybe put a book on the towel for some light pressure. The peroxide cleaning tip was from my carpet cleaner.

Too late.....but my suggestion, because of the oily nature of the juice, would have been:

Put baking soda on it and let it absorb the juice as much as possible. Vacuum and repeat until relatively "dry" THEN use a spray on stain remover like resolve and a clean cloth to blot the rest up.

Edit: I used this method when one of those oil filled thermometers (Galileo?) broke on my carpet. No oily residue and no stain.

Well its nothing dirty that she put in my water, heh. It was my 901, blue and black that I liked very much. They are both drying, atomizer at least works, but still water in it, when I connect it, a lot of hissing. I just pulled an extra from my supply. When I went out today I "borrowed" hers. I come back she is laying in bed with another one she pulled from my supply, so that plan got busted.

Playerrags: Thank you for that insight, but as posted above, I do value my balls very much so I do not wish to persue that course of action. Now if anything(god willing it wont) happens to my boys, I will be the first to take your advice.

Thank you everyone for all the advice. I am pretty good at spills, especially since over the years there have been a lot of soda spills, and can clean them up pretty fast, but this was my first big one with something oil based. Next time I will be more prepared thanks to all of your tips.
