Well, I just got my Black Silver Bullet In.....

and I blew out a TW 510 Titan Atty within minutes....does anyone know if this should of happened if i had done everything correct? are the TW 510's not meant for the SB? im hoping i thought i had the atty wet enough, but not totally sure.....i only have 3 attys left, and im not confident about them not blowing up....any help, tips, 510 vendors....anything at all would greatly be appreciated....thx much!

it happened again - u blew another one...this time - the atty was wet... is it possible that after i remove the atty, it is not making contact? it was working fine, i removed it to blow out old juice and add new flavor...now it wont fire up again...wtf? on to 3rd atty in a couple hours

It takes a lot of time, (and a lot of attys) to learn 6V.

about the only trick I know is quicker drags. 6 volts is a headbanger, but man it is expensive.

many times they pop even wet is one reason I dont do 6v any longer as well as it is too hot a vape for me.

I would suggest using only HV attys. That should solve your problem.

Shorter hits too like in the 2-3 second range with a reg atty and that might not help too much either.

Get some HV 510s in the 4.5 - 5.2ohm range.

^^^ this. I blew up 15 attys in less than a month, now I get 1-2 weeks out of each HV atty. Got mine from Eastmall.

The 510 atties from TW are the lower 2.3 ohm Joye models. Great for 3.7v vaping. Try another brand of non-Joye 510 atty, such as SLB or Bauway. You'll have better luck since they run at a higher (3.2-ish) ohms. Or maybe the HV atties.

Keep them wet. Not moist, WET. Almost flooded.
You'll get the hang of it.

Take shorter drags and keep your fingertips on the atty (not over the hole, tho) When it gets too warm, stop dragging on it.

I blew up more than an atty a day learning 6V. (My record was 3 in one day) But I'd never go back.

I'm using cartomizers now at 6V and loving it. I haven't had a problem with popping a single one. But again, I keep them very wet.

I don't wanna start a whole flame thing here, but I don't get the point of HV attys. They lower the vape back to what it was (about) at the regular battery, Seems to me that just makes the 6V useless. Might just be me.

Be patient with yourself and take a bit of time on the learning curve. Order a few to tide you over, then put in a bulk order from China. (Actually, China orders can get to me in 5-7 calendar days. Faster than some stateside vendors)

If you get down to one or two attys, I'd suggest going down to 3.7V until you can get some more in to learn 6V with.

You won't go back once you learn how to control 6V. It has kept me off cigarettes for over a year, something 3.7 just couldn't do.

I'd simply try cartos or go with 3.7v and get some LR atty's. Either of those options will be less expensive than popping Joye atty's at 6v.

Thanks to all.....gave me some solid leads...atm, i am using Liquid Xpress Cartos and having good luck so far...i didnt know anything about ohms, but it does make sense to me...and even explains a few questions.....cheers

I use the KR808D carts with an adaptor on my BSB. Some are from V4L others came from Healthcabin. I've been using this setup on my BSB for at least 6 months and I've yet to short one out.
510 carto's work great as well. Basically they are a KR808D with the adaptor built in.
My 510 atty's are all reserved for 3.7v duty.
