I know a lot of you took my post (the other day) the wrong way. I was a bit set back by the responses/attacks as I genuinely was not trying to be rash, nor a troll.

I would like to start with a clean slate with you guys. I hate animosity, especially online animosity.

Anyway, I must admit that I am quite excited to see what all the Reo hype is all about. I had been eyeing the Black Wrinkle for a few weeks and saw it was in stock today, so I pulled the trigger. Got a few extras along with some 28g kanthal. I went to CVS and bought some sterile cotton balls the other day, so I will be indeed going the micro coil route.

Hope nobody has any hard feelings. I truly am a pretty easy going, nice guy.

Congrats! and welcome to reoville. I had a feeling you'd be back but you ordering a reo... I totally didn't see that coming. Fresh starts are good and I genuinely hope you like the reo when you get it. Shoot us some pics when it comes in and we'll all oooooo' and ahhhh' over it like we always do with new reonauts.

Do most of you use the 6ml bottles in the Grand, or are the 3ml's popular too? I figured it couldn't hurt to get the 6, but honestly doubt i'll be filling them all the way up. I tend to hop around on flavors quite often.

Right on man! Once its in hand and you're blowing clouds I'm sure you'll dig it.

6ml is standard for the grand and fits it perfectly, to run a 3ml you'd need a different cap/o-ring. Honestly, just fill the bottle half way if thats what you want.

I first got the reo mini 2.1. The mini is the 3ml bottle option (along with using a 18490 battery). I ordered a grand (uses the 6 ml bottle and 18650 battery) yesterday. Can't wait. I hope you enjoy yours as well!

congrats on the purchase, you'll never look back! I too have a black wrinkle grand. been with me a over a month now and the dam thing never leaves my hand. it makes your vaping life soooooo much easier than it was with stupid clearomizers and attys burning out and constantly charging ego style batteries. I fill my reo up with juice at night slap a fresh battery it and im good to go for about a day/day and half. I change my wick every couple days, that's about it. good choice and welcome

We have a big lake here in Reoville with a dam bigger than Hoover at one end. Once water's gone under it, it's gone! It takes hard feelings with it. You're one of us now and we're all as excited as you are about your new Grand. Congratulations and welcome to Reoville!

edit to add: I often only put 1/4-1/3 of a 6 ml bottle in the home Grand when I just want a bit of some richer flavors such as Pluid. Works fine.

Oh, I forgot to mention the initiation ritual ala the grand poobah pdib...whenever we get a new reo mod (grand, mini whatever) the first thing we do is throw them in the dirt and pee on them.

Welcome to the "cult." Most likely you ordered a Mini 2.1 if coming straight from REO. The 2.1 has a bigger well to accomonate more RBA sizes. The original 18490 Mini has a smaller well. I had all of my RM2s milled down to fit the Mini 14450s and 18490s.

If you have any question about whether your REO is a 2.0 or 2.1 just shoot REO, redeyedancer, a PM or email. If it is 2.0 you may need to have the RM2 milled down.

Someone please clarify. Did I read that Robert is now milling all RM2s down, now, to fit the two smaller wells?

You will not regret the decision, watch the rebuilding videos while you wait. I have had mine for 4-5 days now and the Provari aren't getting much use at all. Kicking myself for not jumping on this platform sooner.

I started REOs in 2010 after a week of cigalike and two months of dripping, atty on eGo. I actually didn't kill anyone driving and dripping. Only after I had used REOs for several months did I delve into tube mods, including but not limited to Provari and GGTS, used each a couple times and traded for more REOs. I wanted to join the folks doing the initial syringe mods. I did get a Roughstack to carry when out in "jungle" in case of loss, but back then only thing to use was carto (and refill bottle) and that was so much hassle after using REOs. I since, along the way, still have but rarely use, and offloading soon, Megalodon, BuzPro, 2 X Infinity Pros, Mini GVL, VMax, Robust, and long tube for Roughstack, and many low to high end tanks, including various genesis style.

REOs are responsible for making and keeping me lazy vaper and no tube fits into my lifestyle.

I've fessed up to this numerous times. DH preferrs the eGo and Mini ViVi Nova tanks. They work better in his over stuffed scrubs shirt pockets. So, although he has his choice of every size and style REO, metal and wood, he mostly uses his eGos.

I haven't peed on my Woodvils/Woodies but most have taken a toss in dirt. Most have been swimming at least once; Purpleheart and Oaks are regular "swimmers", with exception of VVWs. But it's only a matter of time. One VVG has taken three "swims" to date. Robert sprinkles extra naughty into my REOs.

Congrats on the REO! I too loved the Black Wrinkle one the moment I saw it. Classy. Please remember the obligatory pictures and also, when you get the REO put it on a table, fire up two candles and put them on the sides, turn off the lights, kneel down and beg forgiveness, for not having bought it sooner.

I had the BW VVG but snapped at the chance to trade it for an Ebony Woodvil (thanks to Dano). Missed it so much I ordered a BW Mini 2.1. Absolutely love the feel. And every one is right about it not showing dirt. I got corn starch all over it and when I went to clean it off, just a wipe with damp paper towel, I was amazed at how dirty it was.
