I know Rob doesn't make this Atty, but it's a piece of junk. I removed the posts, opened the one up, matched the second and now either the plates at the bottom spun around, or the threading that the post screw into, came out.

Basically scrapped atty. Pretty disappointed with the whole thing to be honest. Shipping out a .017" hole in the post was the first mistake.

I'll ship the atty back and see what happens. Either way, pretty disappointed.

vaping my Chi while the Reo is down... Idk guys. Not sure how many of the Reoville people have vaped a proper mech with a solid build prior to their Reo's. I am starting to think a lot of Reoville is in love with the convenience and is willing to take a little hit in vape production/flavor. I'll continue messing with the builds when I get the Atty back.

What other atty's do you guys use with the Reo? Not even sure if I want another RM2.

Again, I will give the Reo another week or so, but so far it isn't standing up with the Chi+Igo W. I am getting wayyy more dry hits with the Reo, and the vapor isn't as flavorful/full.

We shall see...

That sucks about your RM2 bro. Yeah, I've never been a tubesteaker I don't care if it coiled and wicked itself, self levitated to my mouth and were free - they ain't for me. My setups put out all the vapor I could ever demand and I'm totally happy with them. I took up vaping to replace smoking and my REOs do that in spades :)

Rob always makes it right for his customers bro so no worries :)

Yea, just don't think it's what I am/was looking for. I am a vape/flavor hoar. Sure, its better than a ProTank, but it can't hang (from what I have seen) with a dual coil full sized atty/mech.

Hopefully I can get a full refund on all this, the atty thing really p's me off. Should have never been shipped with that kind of hole.

I hear ya on the atty bro - that sucks but .... happens in life sometimes even with the best products / companies. What sets Rob apart from the rest is he'll make it right :)

Trips me out that even Drifter says he prefers 2ohm+ coils. Man, I wouldn't see the point in building my own if that was the case. I would just wrap a micro coil in a protank and save a ton of money.

This time around I am NOT playing Devils Advocate, rather, just giving my honest to goodness thoughts and opinions.

While a lot of people think the 'meat tubes' are unattractive and awkward in the pocket, I tend to disagree. My chi slides into my pocket perfectly and I hardly notice it's there, not to mention I think the device in itself is absolutely gorgeous (especially after a nice polish job). I typically ran it in 18490 mode so it's sleek and as we all know definitely not very beefy in the diameter department. Also, with the current wrap/coil I have on my Chi, I can TRULY get 10-12 monster clouds before I have to re-drip. It's not like I am pulling the cap off every puff of two. Again, the Chi is a very solid mod, and the particular coil and wick I have on it right now is undoubtedly the best I have ever done. I didn't doubt the fact the Reo would struggle holding up, but still have hope that I can do enough tweaking to get it where I want it.

super_X is kinda unique in Reoville. he is quite possibly the best Reovangilist ever to come down the pike tube, but he only has a tiny handful of Reos (unlike that dwallen fool- thank god he's nowhere to be found recently), one of which was gifted to him very recently. incredibly creative-- microcoils, tutorials, spectacular videos, awesome threads-- but he vapes unflavored at "boring" ohms. his avatar scares the **** out of the Newmans of the world, but we all know he is one of the nicest dudes in Reoville.

SXD is an enigma. he is...

BigCloudz, I'm fairly new to Reoville and I was coming from Mechs & RBAs / RDAs, I know what your expectatives you have

If you are not afraid of modding, PM me, I have mine heavily modified to some 3.99 Volts @ .7 ohm coil

Another (and lot easier to do) thing to do to add a kick 2, this weekend I have been vaping a microcoil 1.5 ohm (kanthal 28, 1/16" drill) with that and it's hitting pretty good at 4.8 volts

but with the stuck REO as it's, I found the closer experience to what I was accustomed to with a 5/6 wrap of kanthal 26 on a 5/64" drill bit (so called mini coil)

I feel the flavor is more saturated than with a 1/16" micro, but that is just my preference

Also, I much prefer smaller chamber RDAs over IGO-L/W, the RM2 is actually a very very nice RDA once you find what you want (for my mechs I'm now using YK1s exclusively or the occasional Genesis)

I had a 5 wrap 27g kantahl at .5ohms. The cotton couldn't hold up and I was getting hot/burnt hits about every hit, if not, every other hit. On my Chi right now I have a 5 wrap dual coil 27g with 3mm silica (.4ohms). The vapor isn't hot, but it's extremely dense and flavorful. Not to mention I only need to drip about every 10-12 drags. WIth how big of clouds I blow, that's quite a bit of time in between dripping. I take 2-3 big hits, set it down..come back repeat etc..

Idk, there is nothing wrong with the device, I just don't think it jives with what I like, that's all :) However I will say that the Atty, with that .017" hole in the post is a bit of a joke. Would anyone buy a $43 atty knowing you can't run anything under 27g, and could not dual coil even 32g? Doubtful.

i run 26 gauge, pdlib is on 24 gauge

Both of us are using 'tweaked' REOs

I'll be honest and state that I almost let it pass myself, but I find my own solutions to these things

i dont know, but judging from ur avatar if ur looking for some showboat dual quad coil phillipino meat stick performance from this device then yea ur going to have to mod it. or it just isnt for u. first thing i see wrong is ur only using 5 wraps of 27g micro coils, cotton burns and its not going to hold up to that low ohm res. im running 9 wraps 28g and doing fine. couldnt ask for more. i have a dual coil nimbus and dont care for it much anymore after getting my reo. im not looking to have someone call the fire dept when im vaping. and yes my grand vapor private v2 gets 4v to the .5ohm coils but i prefer the reo grand and dont feel like im taking a hit in the vape/flav dept either.

On a micro it won't, but 5/6 wraps of kanthan 26 on 5/64" bit is what I used with cotton before modding, it was a nice gape indeed

Lmao you guys are so funny.

Ill be putting my Reo in the classifieds tonight.

To the guy who's doggin' on the fact I like big full clouds, I am sorry it's offending you. I find the flavor to be second to none when he vape is like that.

JC, not sure how in the world my post was condescending OR rude. I vaped the Reo for a day and a half, building over 10 coil combos and none matched what my "philipino meat stick" did. To each their own. It's crazy how you guys get when someone challenges your Reo.

I am sorry that it isn't my flavor, no need to get angry

You outta read through the whole thread rather than "judging" me based on my avatar. I have certain expectations when I vape. Nothing has to do with what you said, and like I said if you would take the time to read the thread, you may understand what I like.

Im not too clear yet if your problem is with the reo or the rm2

With the reo, it can be fixed bnt alas, you've made your mind. If i had not spend a few hundreds in the past month in vaping gear i'd buy it from you

If it's the rm2 that can be fixed too

Matter of fact, lets build a dual coil igo-l on reo right this second, thanfully i have adapters and modded my igo-l for bf, video to follow

My main issue lays wih the rm2, however they kind of go hand n hand IMO. As I do like the ruggedness of the Reo, the "philipino meat sticks" are absolutely beautiful when polisher up and paired with the right atty. if I'm spending 150 on a mod (that isn't going to have the rm2) sitting on top of it, there is a slew or options I think would suit ME better...
