they should make it the point of the story. we aren't harming anybody. we aren't second hand citizens anymore. non-smokers have nothing to complain about. they don't have to worry about paying for our healthcare anymore. we will get sick less often for not having to spend time out in the snow and rain where we used to have to go. they should show people walking in grocery stores vaping and saying even before the smoking bans people didn't usually smoke in grocery stores because theres no ashtrays, with these you don't need them, there are no ashes or butts to discard. you can lead into everything by making it the focus of the story. why do you think they named the company SMOKEEVERYWHERE?

With all the save the children hype you might mention that it is much easier for a kid to get five bucks for a pack of cigs than it is to get $40-50, place an order and wait a week or more to get an ecig. There is no way the ecig is geared towards children.

Don't make it sound like you are an e-cig salesman...make it sound like you are speaking from the heart about how you could never have given up tobacco if it wasn't for the e-cig and why you feel confident that it's a far better for you than smoking tobacco. We might not like claiming it's healthier but we sure as hell feel sure it is. We need people to understand that we have tried everything to stop smoking and this is the only thing we have found that works and gives us a better chance of living a longer life.

Pete that is sound advice. I DO feel much better than when I smoked a pack of cigs a day. I DON'T cough, hack or wheeze anymore. I CAN get up a flight of stairs easier now. And, I HAVEN'T been able to reduce tobacco consumption any other way - patch, pills, gum, lollipops, etc.

Yes mamacat I think it's the health part of it that has made us all become so passionate about the e-cig. It's our 'lives' they are messing with when they want to ban them.
avoid making health claims. Avoid using the word quit. Avoid saying things like carcinogen free.
I live in Polk county... go Florida Vapers!!( Actually been trying to find a meet up group or something here in the Orlando area to get people together for a "Mass Vaping"). Anyway, what station is it going to be on? We get Tampa Brighthouse so if the affiliate picks it up i'll be able to rec it!

Health claims yes - But carciongen free? - I thought even the FDA was on page with that?
We all agree that the people selling e-cigs can't make any health claims but surely an e-cig user can and should be voicing their own feelings about the potential health benefits?? How many of us would be vaping if it wasn't for our belief that it must be better for us?....how many of us haven't experienced any health improvements since we have been vaping? The only reason people are thinking we want to vape is to get around their smoking bans.
right on point..........while you don't say Smokeless Nic Vaporizer's are healthier you can certainly say I feel way better. Since the FDA loves to run with the old "we don't know". Use the fact that there are NO KNOWN health risks or cancing causing agents.
I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but the main carrier (of the nicotine) is found in asthma inhalers.
Maybe this might not be such a good idea to even be mentioned afterall (due to comparing to a "drug delivery device), but I thought it might indicate some degree of safety.
