My 510 charger died on me recently and in the meantime I've been relying on my old 901's, but the atty's are screwed up and I'm just not getting very good, consistent pulls. I've blown them out, soaked them, dry-burned them, etc. but nothing's helped.

Here's the thing: I would just buy a new 510 charger online, but I'm dead broke right now after missing about 2 weeks of work (hospital stay followed by broken down vehicle) and I just can't afford any extra expenses. My wife still smokes analogs, so I'm buying the cartons every week anyway, so until I get back on my feet I just have to smoke these disgusting things.

Word to the wise...always have backup supplies handy! I'm learning that the hard way.

I dont think I could have switched to vaping as easily as I did if my wife (or any member of the household) still smoked. I salute you sir and wish you good luck.

Its none of my business, but I'm curious, why didnt your wife quit with you?

(I have picky family members that are interested in vaping and I wouldnt mind hearing some arguments for and against that may help pursuade them to help save thier lungs a bit)

Yeah, I think I'll take your advice. I just quit analogs and REALLY don't want to go back. This is really why I chose a 2 piece design so that I don't have to worry so much about atomizers. Got my first kit a few days ago and after the initial test run, we ordered my wife one yesterday. I've already been thinking this, but I think next week I'll go ahead and order a backup kit so we each have an extra battery and I can use the third charger in my car.

I went back to analogs during the winter for a month, but hey if you just tell yourself its a temporary thing it's all good. Also you might want to take your charger apart and check the following things:

1 - Clean the connectors end. (It's possible you have been screwing in batteries and have juice in the threads)
2 - Check the wires connecting to the threads portion of the charger (the reason I am stating this is because when I owned a njoy charger a LONG time ago every time I was screw a batt in it would click because it was cheaply made. What was happening was it was actually spinning the charger inside and twisted the wires until they broke loose. It might just a be some broken wires inside that can be fixed by soldiering or just taping. It's only two wires so it's not hard to repair.

Crack it open and take a look and if you need help just ask. I'll try my best

Good luck.

Oh that really sucks! Maybe you can get those 901s working. I agree with the others who said to clean the threads on the bats and charger, it may help you out.

What is your 510 charger doing? Mine is a little wonky too. When I screw a bat in, it will only go red if I have the battery in just the right spot. As soon as I let go, it goes green. I'm dealing with this by propping the battery up so it keeps the connection. I've also found that if I screw it in all the way, it doesn't go red. If you wiggle the battery and it goes red, that should work for you.

Good luck. Maybe someone with an extra charger kickin around can send one your way.

Never stop trying, that's the biggest key. I had a bit of a parts problem and now I'm stuck with analogs while waiting for my chuck and other parts to get here. It sucks, but if it's a short term situation, it's not as bad as it could be. With an unexpected death in the family, it's been excruciating smoking analogs, but right now it's the only thing that's calming me down... if my 510 battery hadn't died I'd be fine, but stressful situations throw a pretty big wrench in that.

I guess the point is, don't lose heart, just get what you need to get from analogs and get right back on the vaping wagon as soon as you get your replacements in. It will be easier the second time around.
