I posted a thread last week talking about not getting my 2 day delivery from usps. It's now been over a week and my package has said delivered as of this morning. I have been working from home all day and no truck ever came here and it's just simply wrong.

I purchased this item off ebay so I can't talk to the vender nor will I try, it's not his fault. Gave him a great rating and moved on.

Called usps and they said technically if the driver has delivered the package, there's nothing they can do. So not only did I waste my money and spend over a week eagerly waiting, I have nothing to show for it.

Guys, I've never wanted a smoke so bad. I know I shouldn't but I'm so tempted to just go down the street to get a pack. I have nothing to vape now as I was buying this as a replacement for my MVP that got crushed at work.

Please help talk me out of it or distract me so I don't pick up the habit again.

Thanks!

So sorry to hear this. What a terrible situation. :(
Do you not have anything as a backup? Or even a vape shop close enough to grab an ego setup to get you by? Heck, even a disposable isn't a bad choice in a pinch.

I had a bunch of random stuff, but in an effort to convert family and friends to vaping I gave it all away. :(

Do go down the street, but just buy a few disposables instead. You'll be so glad you didn't buy coffin nails, you'll feel triumphant! But nothing wrong with smoking some disposables until ya get something else in the mail.

You can do it!

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about it, but the dilemma is; I never really enjoyed the disposables. They always made me want to go back to smoking. The MVP was the real reason I quit, that thing was fantastic. I spent a lot on the VTR and I guess I'm just going to try and save inbetween christmas shopping to pick up another MVP, I think the VTR is a lost dream now.

I have a substitute mail carrier who scans all of his packages at the beginning of his route and delivers them at the end. Maybe yours did that and still has it.
Okay I'm grasping at straws here....sorry that happened to you

Heh, I'll use that to stay positive (incredibly dissapointed right now) but usually it's never like this. I normally get it before it's even marked as delivered. But I'll keep you posted as to whether or not that was the case. Fingers crossed

So sorry Enzzo, I've had my fair share of issues with the USPS and I really feel your pain.

One thing I did was to go to the post office and talk (in person) with the postmaster. This might help as they will normally talk to the postman who covers your route. They may remember the package and where he / she delivered it. You could also try talking to your neighbors, in my experience, most people are honest and will tell you if they got something not addressed to them.

You can also file a claim with the USPS, but it's a long shot as they don't seem to make the process very easy.

You can try contacting the seller, maybe he has a proof of posting form he can send you to help with the claim.

In the meantime, as some have suggested, go to your local walmart and grab an njoy or two while you get back on your feet. You know you don't want to smoke and we don't want you to smoke either :)

Good luck.

Did the driver note where they left your package? Like your front door or with a neighbor? They usually keep track of that. I'd be on USPS. Sometimes, when a full-time employee takes a day off they use subcontractors who's job description includes apathy and the ability to ignore addresses. Maybe he didn't feel like coming to your door and left it on the nearest corner or something more convenient to him/her. That's how these subcontractors work around here anyway.

I was on the phone with the postmaster and he said he "look into it" and hung up. I wish I was making all this up. And I know for a fact if any of my neighbors recieved this package they would bring it to me. Seeing as I'm on a dead end road with only 3 houses it's easy to get to know my neighbors. All really great people

Gotta ask, how does a VTR get crushed?

It was the MVP that got crushed and we were working construction on a house. I had the MVP sitting on a bench and a bucket filled with hammers, nails, *insert random heavy object that shouldn't be in the same bucket* fell on it from about 10 feet up. Visually it looks fine, but won't fire or charge.

It was a VTR, battery and charger for $120. Then I bought 2 extra batteries from him for $20. All shipped together. All missing. Yay

Well, that's not the deal I saw. At that price, I'd expect the vendor to do the legwork to figure out why you didn't get it. He would be the one to file the claim.
