Oh, I don't plan on it. But I'm just really disapointed, and would really like a lot of nicotine in my lungs right now.

It seems like you've gone a fair amount of time without nicotine during a very stressful time. Kudos to you and I hope this turns out for the best for you.

I'm pretty sure that any insurance claim would be denied because the item shows as 'delivered'. (Did I understand that correctly? The USPS's own tracking system shows it as 'delivered', right?) The USPS would deny the claim.

As an occasional ebay seller, I know that if I have a tracking number and that tracking number shows that the item was delivered, I am 'off the hook' as far as ebay is concerned as regards claims of non-delivery. In other words, ebay won't take the money from my account to refund the buyer.

well that sucks.

Unfortunately there is always that small minority of people who try to scam the system (by claiming an item wasn't delivered when it was) that mess it up for the vast majority of honest folks out there.

Yeah, bills just came in :(

Darnit!!!

One last hope, you said it departed IL this AM for CT and switched to delivered? If so check it later tonight. I wonder if it was an incorrect scan, I have one that was delivered today and it was scanned in at my PO before it was scanned out of sort. Maybe *fingers crossed* a little error and it comes Friday???

And how far away in Connecticut? I gots back ups. I could lend an SVD :)

Man, insult to injury, sorry Enzzo. I know that normal post service, well, isn't normal right now. I've had about three packages show up late at the post office in the last two weeks, and they marked it as "notice left" when no 'notice' was left at all. Very strange, because I was sitting at the desk when the tracking said this. I called the post office and was told "oh....wait a minute, yes here it is!" So it could be something like this. Just trying to be optimistic for you

Don't know why this happened, but I do think it may be in your best interest to pursue this at your local post office in person. I know it's a hassle, but It may help, and it may at least give you the satisfaction that you could at least do 'something' about it. I don't blame you for being upset. That just totally sux. I hope everything will work out somehow
