Well, just like many said it would, I no longer like the tobacco flavored e-liquids.

I'm into my 5th month of using e-cigs exclusively and for the past week or so I have been vaping some of the sweeter/fruitier e-liquids I purchased. Yesterday I decided to switch it up and use one of the tobacco flavors I didn't use in about 2 weeks.

Gack, tastes like a burnt tire to me. I can only imagine how horrible a real cigarette would taste.

Yep, it happens. Your tastes will evolve greatly as time goes on. I've gone from tobacco flavors, to bakeries/desserts, to fruits, to...ready for this...back to tobacco flavors and even unflavored knocking my socks off! It's cyclical I think, although the tobaccos I go for now are NET (naturally extracted tobaccos) and very different flavor profiles from what I started with.

I'll keep a bit around and see how it tastes in a few months. Right now I'm happy just vaping away on the other stuff, so, no great loss. At least I'm still not smoking, which is what counts.

I'm in the same boat. I just couldn't steer away from the tobacco flavors but ever since I got my mech mod and RDA, I am exclusively vaping fruity and sweet flavors. The tobaccos just taste like utter crap since I have switched, and I will definitely not be going back AT ALL.

Chris - I know exactly what you mean - Just after I started vaping I got hooked on blueberry and RY4 - A few weeks after I picked up the "Tobbacco" one, remembering how nice it tasted compared to ciggs... I remember thinking after my first drag *Oh god I need to go throw up in a bucket* - you're not the only one ! The "pure" tobacco flavours I can't do anymore

I've only tried a couple different tobacco flavors in my vaping career and I still love MBV's 555. The taste of it reminds me of a good pipe tobacco smell...and who doesn't like the smell of some good pipe tobacco?...nutty, caramelly, maybe a touch of honey...

Then again I've never had an e-juice I outright hated, and I've tried lots! Everything from tobacco to fruity to bakery flavors. Perhaps you just haven't found a tobacco flavor you really like. They taste NOTHING like an actual burning cigarette. :2c:

I need tobbaco flavors during the day, but like other flavors during the evening and after work. Couldn't stand anything but tobbaco at first . I'm six weeks in and my tastes are changing. Never thought I would like watermellon, tastes like a jolly rancher. Love it! The taste of waffle, syrup and butter rocks in the morning.

All my two vaping buddies use is tobacco flavors. They always offer me hits and I'm just like....no...please...just no. Were talking cigar tobacco flavors mixed with black coffee flavors. It's just not my style, way too harsh, way too bleh and less yum. To each their own I suppose!

I had some tobacco flavored eliquids but quickly learned that gourmet flavors are far superior in my opinion.

I tried all sorts of the "tobacco-alikes" and none were impressive enough to keep me coming back. They all fall short. I stopped trying to duplicate the cigs and have never been happier. I found that there is so much out there to experience why would you want to limit yourself to tobacco? Try a good Graham cracker instead!:headbang:

I tried one tobacco flavor when I first started vaping and I didn't like it at all. I really enjoy the fruity/sweet flavors, MBVs hawk sauce is one I always come back to. It's just the right mix of berries and a little menthol. It's been a while since I've tried a tobacco flavor so I'll have to give it another shot soon

I haven't ever found a tobacco flavor I cared for, but my tastes evolved as well. I went from heavy menthol to fruit flavors for a little while, to exotics (bubble gum and the like), and then went back to a light menthol. I've been there for about a year with no change in sight.

I have only recently given up my tobacco DIY flavor. I just enjoy my bakery flavors better. I already went through the fruit flavors but may revisit them :). Some good ole blueberry, black cherry, and pineapple. Good stuff.

I just got tired of the cloying taste of the tobacco and the others smell better. I get compliments all the time with these new flavors and don't feel bad vaping them whereas with the tobacco I was still leaving a smell of tobacco in the air.

Stayed away from tobacco flavors based on all the negative comments about them. Did food flavors and was about to give up on vaping. I was a smoker! When I wanted to eat, vaping food flavors was fine but I only ate three times a day and smoked most of the day. That's what I missed. Figured I had nothing to loose at that point considering I was about to pick up the smoking rate I had before I started vaping. So I studied and researched more than I found posted. What I learned is tobacco mixing is a true art form. Sure you can throw some food flavorings in with the tobacco to mask it... anyone can do that but to get a truly good just-tobacco flavor without those food flavors mixed in... that takes a lot of experimentation, time and experience gained during it. I found that in a mixologist and couldn't be happier with my tobacco-flavored juices. Now my most frequent vaping is smoke simulation and I fill in with food flavors.. well, not really... even my food fill-ins are tobacco with food thrown in. They're just so much richer than plain food flavors. I wish more vendors would study mixing instead of just buying the tobacco flavor and dumping X-concentration in some base. Those are all the same... some degree of chemical/perfume and awful. I think that's mostly what tobacco-flavor-haters are judging by. I can't imagine any other reason.

Probably depends on the tobacco liquid you're using.

I love Ahlusion's tobaccos, and their Smooth Criminal is my all day vape. I buy it 60ml at a time.

I also recently tried a couple from Johnson's Creek, their French Vanilla tobacco and their Red Oak Domestic. The Domestic is probably the closest sensation to smoking that I've tried since starting vaping.
