I love how I'm a "bad influence" for helping you past the initial learning curve, straight into the good stuff.

How's those lungs feelin'?

Oh speak of the devil. You definitely put me passed the noobie stage into the moderate/advanced level real quick. Thank you for dealing with my 24 hour harassment of questions and requests. I definitely owe you big time rUu rUu.

It starts out so innocently,,,,,an Ego style battery, a tank of some sort,& a little juice. Then maybe a VV or VV/VW mod, more tanks, maybe a carto tank or few, oh yea,,,,more juice. A mech mod here, a hybrid there, and a box mod or 2 thrown in for good measure. Try a little dripping & maybe an RBA. Did i mention more juice ??? Oh well may as well DIY that!!
A fun little hobby we've found ourselves isn't it ??? :D Not sure where more of my $$$ goes,,,vaping or my rods :?: But, at least we're not smokin :w00t::w00t: and let's all,,,

VAPE ON !!! :vapor:

LOL- pretty much exactly my thought process as well.

my wife has been gettin on me about "my addictive personality" alot lately. she doesnt understand why when i get involved with something i cant just be happy with some of it. i like to research and find out all i can on a subject, and tinker with things. between wrenching on my cars and bike, now i tinker with my tanks and devices. plus, of course i have to read up on the forums for all 3. i tell her it could be worse, i could be at the bar, atleast im either in the garage or at the computer. her father tells her the same thing.

I can relate been off the stinkers for 2 and half months, so far have eroll, egoc kit, egotwist kit, x6 variable batts, wow, wish I could go back and just get a provari and be done with that part of the journey. Got my husband vaping too. We are so stocked to be off cigs so pain free! Looking to get Provari, have some questions but as this is my first post and forum for that matter, don't know where to ask them. by the by my hat is off to all you vapers for setting this site up and keeping such a vault of info on all this I have been reading here since I started vaping and learned lots.thanks

Ha, we are pretty much the same person. I don't think it's a terrible thing to want to mod everything.

You can count me in too. I've been at it one month and already have a load of stuff. No provari....yet. A couple vamos and an iTase MVP on the way.

I like to tinker too. I've been rebuilding the heads in my protanks and evods almost obsessively. Just when I think I've wrapped the perfect coil at just the right ohms. I vape it for a while then think "What if...?"
Good thing I stocked up on silica and kanthal. I probably should look into RBA's.

I've tried to keep it under control really.... A couple of ego c twists 1000 mAh and a vamo v3 chrome with 2 panny 18650 and 2 18350 batteries with a nice charger. It's more of a juice thing with me. I smoked as well in the first 3 months of vaping and just one day I suddenly stopped the analogs. Didn't even realize as I smoked my last cig (that it was going to be my last cig lol).

Feeling so much better these days. But in the beginning you spend as much or more than smoking. I have gotten to a point now where I am now spending less, much less than $150-$200 a month as I did when I smoked.

I find carto tanks to be my sweet spot. Great flavor and juice lasts a bit longer as compared to an Iclear 30. Fill it and your good for the day. I have multiple tanks filled and ready to go on all my batteries. It's a hobby I will probably have for the rest of my life. I may not chain vape like I do these days at 24mg.... lol maybe I will lol.

But the only treatment for GAS is to own everything there is to own that is even remotely vaping related, once all items are acquired, the symptoms of GAS are greatly diminished and, it's doubtful friends and family will even notice your disorder any longer, they may notice the unusual scents form you experimental juice blend and that your PV never seems to look the same any two given times they see it, but, that's nothing to be concerned about.

That's great, congrats to you and the hubby. My advice is to watch Youtube videos, browse here and just learn! You will get really into different RBA setups and how to get exactly what you're looking for.

No sweat, man. I'm just proud of you for staying off the analogs.

Let's find you a Pure.

You're not alone.

At least vaping supplies are cheaper than bike parts. :toast:

My GAS slowed down considerably after switching over to hybrids. Really cuts down on the temptation to "try out" anything with a 510 thread.

Having vape tech-support on speed dial helps too.

I'm in the same boat. I have acquired a good bit of stuff already after just seven weeks, but I'm trying to not go overboard.

-Original eGo-T kit with upgrade VV batteries, SMOKTECH Artemas DCT, carrying case, bottles, etc on first day
-Kanger Protank I and II (have not touched the II yet), five replacement heads
-Two Kanger EVOD BCC tanks that replaced the eGo-T after 45 days
-eGo-C atomizer with tank tips
-Three additional eGo style batteries (1100mAh, 650mAh, 350mAh), one eGo-T atomizer, one extra eGo USB charger
-Cartomizer replacements, carto hole punch, carto tool, syringe, eye dropper, etc

All of that is definitely within reason IMO. I got some of that and some juice either free or at a deep discount from a buddy who runs a B&M too, so that cut start-up costs significantly.

Right now the juices are where I'm spending lots of $$$ but I found two vendors I like, and hoping to find at least one more for my core juices. I'll try different vendors based on recommendations and specials also, but will stop ordering five or six samples at a time to cut back some. The DIY path is one I'll likely take in the future, but not right now as I'm trying to find a good routine and pattern first.

What I would consider a little past where I wanted to go in my spending:

Innokin itaste MVP
Phiniac custom tank

Those are two that I am really looking forward to getting and probably the real start to my journey as a vapenerd.:vapor: I will say that I don't plan on abandoning the eGo style batteries though, and it's the mods with all the juices that drain long-term cash. I set a budget of $75 a month going forward and hope to stick to that. We'll see, I think the MVP may change the way I currently look at vaping.

One thing I'll say is that investing some, or even a lot of money, has to encourage people to continue vaping and stiff arm the analogs. My #1 reason for quitting the analogs was cost, but now I see other benefits (health, convenience, vape hobby, etc) so it has become much easier to spend a little more. But once I passed the $500 purchase point I realized that going back to analogs and letting this stuff rot WAS NOT an option, even if I wanted that. So I have that going for me, which is nice. :)

I think everyone tends to go a little fast in the vaping world. I got my brother and parents on it. My parents started off with little ego batteries and liked them, until they vaped my vamo. then they got the Itaste v3's and are loving them. But they walked into a vape shop and now my mom wants a purple provari and my pops wants the Itaste 134. they have been vaping for about a month. I've created MONSTERS!!!!!
